Ryan Allen Carrillo (born March 10, 1975) is an American television personality, trans activist, and reality show contestant. Carrillo made his first televised personality appearance as part of Team Fab 3 on ABC's Expedition Impossible in 2011. Although Carrillo had been a professional roller skater traveling on tour with Madonna and appearing in numerous movies as a professional skater. Carrillo is also an on-air personality for AfterBuzzTV. In 2011 Carrillo appeared on Season 4 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles when he purchased Mexico y Barra Restaurant in West Hollywood with transgender actress Candis Cayne. [1] [2]

Artistic roller skating

Carrillo is one of a few openly living gay professional athletes in the world. [3] Artistic roller skating is a sport similar to figure skating but where contestants run on roller skates instead of ice skates. Carrillo is a three-time Southwest regional champion, U.S. silver medalist, and member of the in-line World Team. [4] Carrillo won the 1991 USARS Figure Skating National Championship Sophomore Men's Division. [5] The very first Precision Roller Skating World Championships took place October 31, 1999, at the Carrara Stadium in Gold Coast Australia. [6] Carillo represented the United States on team Holiday of Orange, California and finished in 8th place (of 8 competing). [7] Carrillo was featured at the Osmond Family Theatre in Branson, Missouri skating for Tony Orlando and the Osmond Brothers. [3] Carrillo was the featured roller skater in Madonna's "Sorry" music video. [8] Out Magazine labeled him as "Madonna's Skating Boy Toy!" [9]

Lawsuit

Carrillo and Andrew Gruver filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, naming Lisa Vanderpump, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", and her husband as defendants and alleging breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud, breach of contract, and misrepresentation and deception, according to court documents. Carillo and Gruver claim the couple "unfairly snatched the West Hollywood venue" where they intended to open a gay sports bar called Bar Varsity. [11]

Madonna: Truth or Dare is a 1991 American documentary film by director Alek Keshishian chronicling the life of entertainer Madonna during her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour. Madonna approached Keshishian to do an HBO special on the tour after watching his Harvard senior project. Initially planned to be a traditional concert film, Keshishian was so impressed with the backstage life that he persuaded Madonna to make it the focus of the film. Shahs of Sunset is an American reality television series that aired on Bravo. The series debuted on March 11, 2012, and ended on August 29, 2021. The series followed a group of Iranian Americans living in Beverly Hills, who are trying to juggle their active social lives and up-and-coming careers while balancing the demands of their families and traditions. It is the second American reality television show about Iranians after E!'s Love Is in the Heir in 2004. Erin Jackson is an American speed skater, roller derby player, and Olympic gold medalist. Jackson is the first Black woman to win a Winter Olympic gold medal in an individual sport. She qualified for The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland, where she competed in inline speed skating in various distances on road and track. She also qualified to compete in the 500 meters long track speed skating event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
