Ryan Flynn (born March 22, 1988) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He most notably played with Ilves of the Finnish Liiga. He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 6th round (176th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Flynn was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Prior to turning professional, he attended the University of Minnesota, where he played four seasons with the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's ice hockey team. [1]
Flynn began his professional career with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. [2]
For the 2012–13 season he played in Italy with HC Bolzano, scoring 28 goals and 20 assists for 48 points in 42 games played, and on September 7, 2013, it was announced that Flynn would be joining Ilves to play in the Finnish SM-liiga. [3]
Flynn competed at the 2006 IIHF World U18 Championships where he won a gold medal as a member of Team USA. [4]

Raimo Ilmari Helminen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. He is often called "Raipe" or "Maestro" by his fans. He is the world record holder for most international games played by a hockey player, as well as for tied for being the hockey player in the most Olympic Games, and his 26 seasons as a professional is one of the longest careers in professional hockey history. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2012.
Jonas Erik Andersson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Most of his career was spent playing in the SM-liiga, the top league in Finland, though he also briefly played for the Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Andersson played internationally for Sweden at both the junior and senior level, including the 2010 World Championship.
Fredrik Jan Elis Norrena is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 100 games in the National Hockey League with the Columbus Blue Jackets between 2006 and 2008. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1992 to 2014, was mainly spent in Europe, where he mainly played in the Finnish SM-liiga and Swedish Elitserien. Internationally Norrena played for the Finnish national team at five World Championships, winning one silver and one bronze medal, and the 2006 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal.
Ryan Suter is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played for the Nashville Predators and Minnesota Wild.
Jani Petteri Hurme is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 76 games in the National Hockey League with the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers between 2000 and 2003. He also played several seasons in the Finnish SM-liiga during his career, which lasted from 1993 to 2011. He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the third round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft with the 58th overall pick. Internationally Hurme played for the Finnish national team at the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 2003 World Championship.
