Biography

Sullivan attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and graduated in 2005. [4] [5] Sullivan worked as a painting assistant to Ross Bleckner and Laura Owens. [5]

His first solo exhibition was in 2015 at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami. [5] Sullivan has exhibited at various museums and galleries worldwide, including The High Line, [6] MoMA PS1; [1] Kunstmuseum Bonn; [7] Hydra Workshop, Greece, Flag Art Foundation, New York; [8] Sadie Coles HQ, London; [5] [9] Maccarone, New York; [10] Rubell Family Foundation, Miami; [11] White Flag Projects, Saint Louis; [12] and Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome. [13]

In 2013, he was artist-in-residence at Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas [14] and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Captiva, Florida.

In 2025, he has an exhibition at Galerie Gisela Capitain in Naples. [15]
