SF Film Finland Oy (formerly FS Film Oy) is a Finnish film distributor established in 2000. It is part of Bonnier Group and a subsidiary of AB Svensk Filmindustri. SF Film Finland is the leading film distributor in Finland, with market shares of 30.67% in admissions and 31.04% in box office (2011). [2] The company distributes approximately 45 theatrical premieres and 400 new DVD releases annually. [3]

Finnkino Oy is a Finnish film distributor and the biggest cinema chain in Finland. It was established in 1986 as a union of 34 companies working in the film industry. In 1994 Finnkino was acquired by the Rautakirja Group, which became a division of the Sanoma Group in 1999. Finnkino operates a total of 16 cinemas in eleven cities. It also has subsidiaries in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, operated under the names of Forum Cinemas and Forum Distribution. In early 2017, Finnkino and other Scandinavian and Baltic cinema chains were acquired by AMC Theatres as part of its acquisition of Nordic Cinema Group.

Anima Vitae and Cinemaker OY were nominated for Cartoon Movie Tributes 2013 in the category “European Producer of the Year”. Like a predecessor, it is one of the most expensive Finnish films.

Night Visions is a biannual film festival focusing on horror, fantasy, science fiction and cult cinema. The festival is held twice a year in Helsinki, Finland. The festival also showcases documentaries and short films. The first Night Visions festival was organized in November 1997.
