Saa Emerson Lamina is a Sierra Leoneean politician and the Mayor of Koidu Town. Lamina is the youngest Mayor in Sierra Leone's history, and at the time of his inauguration was the youngest Mayor in West Africa. [1]
Saa Emerson Lamina was born in Koidutown, Kono District, Eastern Sierra Leone, to a head teacher father and a midwife mother. He completed his Primary education at the U.M.C. Boys School, Koidu City. Due to the civil war in the country, he attended various secondary schools, including Magburaka Government Secondary School for Boys in Magburaka. He completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.Ed) degree in Linguistics, and Double Master's degrees in Educational Administration (M.Ed.) and Peace and Development Studies (MA-PADS) from Njala University.
At Njala University, Lamina rose to the Presidency of Njala University Students Union Government and also served in other capacities, including as President of Kono Student's Union (KONSU); President of Magbaraka Old Boy's Association (MOBA); Coordinator of the Human Rights Clinic (NUC); Editor in Chief of Spectacle Press NU; and Director of Information of the National Union of Sierra Leone Students (NUSS).

Bo, also commonly referred to as Bo Town, is the second largest city in Sierra Leone by landscape/geographical location and the largest city in the Southern Province. Magburaka is a trade center and is one of the main cities in Northern Sierra Leone. As with most parts of Sierra Leone, the Krio language of the Sierra Leone Creole people is the most widely spoken language in Magburaka.

Sam-Sumana stood as the vice-presidential candidate of the All People's Congress (APC) in the 2007 presidential election, alongside presidential candidate Ernest Bai Koroma. The APC ticket defeated the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) presidential candidate Solomon Berewa and vice presidential candidate Momodou Koroma. Sam-Sumana took office as vice president on September 17, 2007.

Koidu Secondary School is a government-sponsored secondary school located in Koidu City, Kono District, Sierra Leone. The school is the largest and most prominent secondary school in Kono District and one of the largest in the country. The current principal is Mr KAI E. JIMMY.
Education in Sierra Leone is legally required for all children for six years at primary level and three years in junior secondary education, but a shortage of schools and teachers has made implementation impossible. The Sierra Leone Civil War resulted in the destruction of 1,270 primary schools and in 2001 67 percent of all school-age children were out of school. The situation has improved considerably since then with primary school enrollment doubling between 2001 and 2005 and the reconstruction of many schools since the end of the war. However, there is still a long ways to go. In 2004, Junior secondary school enrollment was only 17% of primary school enrollment, and senior secondary school enrollment was only 8% of primary school education.

K-Man is known for his soft rap tone. He rapped mainly in English and the Krio language as well as occasionally in the Madinka language.
Ansarul Islamic Boys Secondary School also known as"A School," is a government sponsored public secondary school located in Tankoro Chiefdom, Koidutown, Kono District, Sierra Leone. The school was founded on Islamic Principle in 1974 by two illustrious Fula businessmen, Alhaji Sajalieu Bah, and Alhaji Chewtor Jalloh. The school is an affiliate of the Sierra Leone Ansarul Islamic Mission. The school's motto is "Service To Mankind." The school is the first and only boys secondary school in Koidutown. The school is regarded as one of the most prominent Secondary schools in the region. The school's alumni includes medical doctors, theologists, diplomats, politicians, paramount chief, military officers, lawyers, educators, athletes, and business entrepreneurs. Although the school has an Islamic tradition, students from all religious background are accepted, and the staff is made up of teachers from different religious background.
