Sabah Tani (died 19 February 2018) [1] was a Bangladeshi singer from the 1980s and 1990s. [2] [3] Her notable songs include "Kichhukhon", "Bhalobasa Bahurupi" and "Kono Baishakhi Raate Jodi". [4] [5]

Career

Tani served as a judge in the Sylhet region selection round of the reality show Close Up-1: Tomakei Khujchhey Bangladesh's 2012 edition. [3] [7] She had performed live music programs on television in 2016. [3] [8]

Personal life

Tani was the cousin of film actor Nayeem. [1] She had one son, Anid. [4] [9] She died of low blood pressure. [1] She was buried in Gorai village in Tangail. [9]

Tangail, is a major city within the Dhaka Division in central Bangladesh. It sits on the bank of the Louhajang River, 83 kilometres (52 mi) north-west of Dhaka, the nation's capital. It is considered to be the main urban area of the Tangail District, and is the 13th-largest city by population in Bangladesh. Tangail Mohokuma was detached from Mymensingh on December 1, 1969, and Tangail District was established. In 1969, Tangail district was created by Tangail Mohokuma from its 975 square kilometers of land and 2439 square kilometers of land from Mymensingh Sadar Mohokuma.

Abdul Kader Siddique Bangladeshi politician and former freedom fighter

Abdul Kader Siddique is a Bangladeshi politician. He is popularly known under the title of Bangabir. He served as a Mukti Bahini member and organizer of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He fought with an estimated 17,000-strong guerrilla force in the Tangail region against the Pakistan Army. The army was called Kaderia Bahini. At the end of the war, on 16 December 1971, Siddique's forces entered Dhaka along with the Indian forces, signaling the end of the war. He was awarded Bir Uttom by the Government of Bangladesh. Since 1999, he has been serving as the leader of his own-formed party Krishak Sramik Janata League.

Chandragrohon: The Lunar Eclipse is a Bangladeshi film based on a short story written by Indian Bengali author Syed Mustafa Siraj. The film was released 2008 and younger director Murad Parvez first time directed the film. The film features Riaz, Sohana Saba, and Champa in lead roles along with Shahiduzzaman Selim, KS Firoz, Dilara Zaman, Kohinur, Gazi Rakayet, Azom Faruk and Kazi Riton in supporting roles. Belal Khan is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter and music composer. Belal Khan is born in Nalua village of Sakhipur in Tangail district. He was awarded 39th Bangladesh National Film Awards (2014) for Best Music Composition in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh for his music composition in the film Nekabborer Mohaproyan (2014). He also has won the 45th Bangladesh National Film Awards (2020) as the Best Music Director for the film Bishshash Jodi Jayre.

They were operated under 21 companies, 63 platoons and 100 sections. Abdul Baten led a number of guerrilla attacks.
