Life and career

His father Noor Dewasi was a lyricist in the late 1960s and early 1970s. [1]

He made his directorial debut with Kambakkht Ishq , a 2009 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film was based on the 2002 Tamil film, Pammal K. Sambandam . It featured Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, along with Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora in supporting roles. Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh, and Holly Valance appeared in cameos, playing themselves. The film was released on 3 July 2009.

Sabbir Khan then directed Heropanti . It was a remake of the 2008 Telugu romantic drama, Parugu . It starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in their Hindi film debuts, alongside Prakash Raj in a supporting role. The film was released Worldwide on 23 May 2014.

Sabbir Khan's next was Baaghi . It was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It was third successive film with Khan. It starred Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sudheer Babu, in his Hindi debut. Khan reunited with Tiger Shroff, for the third time, for Munna Michael , starring Nidhi Agerwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. It was produced by Viki Rajani and Eros International. The film was released on 21 July 2017.

Khan's next film was Nikamma , is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film starring Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty. It was a remake of Middle Class Abbayi .

Baaghi 2 is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ahmed Khan. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it is the second installment in Baaghi film series, a spiritual sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi and a remake of the 2016 Telugu film Kshanam. It stars Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Darshan Kumar, Prateik Babbar, Randeep Hooda, Deepak Dobriyal and Arravya Sharma and tells the story of Ranveer "Ronnie" Pratap Singh, an Indian Army officer who sets out to find and rescue his ex-girlfriend's three-year-old daughter from the clutches of her kidnappers in Goa. Principal photography commenced for the film in August 2017, and it was shot in Mumbai, Pune, Shanghai, Goa, China, Manali and Thailand. The film was finished with a budget of 59 crore (US$7.4 million), including print and promotion costs.

Ek Do Teen is a Hindi song from the film Baaghi 2. The song was a remake of the original Ek Do Teen from the film Tezaab which was sung by Alka Yagnik and Amit Kumar and featured Madhuri Dixit. The song features Jacqueline Fernandez and Tiger Shroff and is voiced by Shreya Ghoshal. Ghoshal had also recreated a version of the same song with DJ Aqeel for the Ameesha Patel starrer Desi Magic. The movie was released on 30 March 2018.

Baaghi 3 is a 2020 Indian action thriller film directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is the third installment in Baaghi series and stars Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor. It also features Ankita Lokhande, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Jameel Khoury, Jackie Shroff, Satish Kaushik, Virendra Saxena and Manav Gohil in pivotal roles. The first half and climax are based on Tamil film Vettai (2012).

Farhad Samji is an Indian writer, singer, lyricist, actor, music and film director who works in Hindi cinema. He is known for directing Housefull 4, Bachchhan Paandey, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan independently. He has also made special appearances in films like Baaghi 3 and Coolie No. 1. He is famous for his works with his brother, Sajid Samji. The duo together is known as Sajid - Farhad and are known for directing films like Entertainment and Housefull 3.

Heropanti 2 is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Ahmed Khan, written by Rajat Arora and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film serves as a sequel to the 2014 film Heropanti. It stars Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria. It was released on 29 April 2022.

Baaghi is a series of Indian Hindi-language action thriller films. All films are produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment while the first film is distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and the second and third are by Fox Star Studios. The first film Baaghi was released in 2016 and directed by Sabbir Khan and the second and third and fourth films Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020) are directed by Ahmed Khan. Baaghi 4 has also been announced and is in the production stage and the director for Baaghi 4 is yet to be announced. Baaghi 2 till date is the most successful film till date in the franchise grossing over ₹258.05 crores worldwide.

"O Saathi" is a song from the 2018 Bollywood film Baaghi 2. The song is sung by Atif Aslam and composed and written by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.The song marked the last work of Atif Aslam in Indian Film Industry as a result of ban over Pakistani artists.
