Career

Sutherland is known for being the long-time producing partner of David Lynch and for her work on Twin Peaks (1990), Inland Empire (2006), and Twin Peaks: The Return (2017). As an actress, she also had a small role in Twin Peaks: The Return. [3] [4] [5] [6]

In 2020 and 2021, Sutherland has managed and produced the David Lynch Theater channel on YouTube. [7]

It revolves around the investigation into the murder of Teresa Banks and the last seven days in the life of Laura Palmer, a popular high school student in the fictional Washington town of Twin Peaks. Fire Walk with Me has a much darker, less humorous tone than the TV series.

Inland Empire is a 2006 experimental psychological thriller film written, directed, and produced by David Lynch. Released with the tagline "A Woman in Trouble", the film follows the fragmented and nightmarish events surrounding a Hollywood actress who begins to take on the personality of a character she plays in a supposedly cursed film production. It was completed over three years and shot primarily in Los Angeles and Poland. The process marked several firsts for Lynch: the film was shot without a finished screenplay, instead being largely developed on a scene-by-scene basis; and it was shot entirely in low-resolution digital video by Lynch himself using a handheld Sony camcorder rather than traditional film stock.

She is known for her roles as Sarah Palmer in Twin Peaks and its film prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), Lois Henrickson in Big Love, as well as in cult films such as two of David Lynch's films: Juana Durango in Wild at Heart (1990) and Visitor #1 in Inland Empire (2006). Hurley has worked on several and different type of films, as a film score composer, sound supervisor, sound designer, re-recording mixer, sound mixer, and supervising sound editor. Notably he composed the film score of the 2023 feature film Divinity, along with DJ and record producer DJ Muggs.

Andrea Hays is an American actress, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, and nurse, best known for her role as Heidi in Twin Peaks which she played in both the 1990 original series and the 2017 revival, Twin Peaks: The Return, the 1992 prequel movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.
