Sacha Brooks is a British radio presenter and DJ from Nottingham.
Sacha's radio career started on the pirate radio station Globe 107.7fm in Nottingham and she went on to launch Choice 102.2 in Birmingham. She relocated to Japan where she spent three years as a DJ before returning to the United Kingdom to join Vibe 105 – 108. She was then poached by Galaxy Birmingham to host "The Flava Zone" before being promoted to the Galaxy network based in Leeds, where she originally did the afternoon show before being moved up to the mid-morning one. Galaxy was rebranded as Capital on 3 January 2011. [2] [3] She is now the weekday drivetime [4] and until 17 September 2011 the Saturday mid-morning [5] presenter on Capital Birmingham (previously Galaxy Birmingham). She also presented a networked Dubstep/Funky/R&B show each Sunday 2-5 am on Capital network from 1 May 2011 until 15 July 2012, however this show continues to air locally on Capital Birmingham every Friday 2-4 am. [6] She also hosted a Saturday mid-morning program from 9 am-1 pm on Capital Xtra, but shortly afterwards, it was taken over by Vick Hope.
On 30 August 2019, Global Radio launched a new station ‘Capital XTRA Reloaded’ (launched Monday 2 September) whereby Sacha was selected to be the first presenter on the station. As a result of which she ceased working for Capital in Birmingham on the drive time show, which Global replaced with ‘Tom & Claire’ (originally from Capital East Midlands). Now [ when? ] Sacha presents the breakfast show on Capital XTRA Reloaded from 8am-12pm Monday-Friday.[ citation needed ]
Sacha Brooks presented her final show on Capital Xtra Reloaded on 26 May 2023 after deciding to hang up her headphones.
Capital South Wales is a regional radio station owned by Communicorp UK and operated by Global as part of the Capital network. It broadcasts to Cardiff and Newport and the surrounding areas from studios in Cardiff Bay.

96.2 Touch FM was an Independent Local Radio station serving Coventry and Warwickshire, in the West Midlands, England. The station broadcast from studios at Honiley, near Kenilworth, on 96.2 FM and online.
David Allan "Kid" Jensen is a Canadian-born British radio DJ and television presenter. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Jensen began as a radio DJ on Radio Luxembourg. Jensen was later a broadcaster for the BBC from 1976 to 1984, as a host on BBC Radio 1 and presenter on the TV music programme Top of the Pops from 1977 to 1984. Jensen has also hosted and presented for Capital FM and ITV among other stations.

Xtra AM was an Independent Local Radio station which was on the air between 1989 and 1998. It was broadcast to much of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire and was the 'oldies' station which took over the mediumwave frequencies of both BRMB and Mercia FM. The programming came from the BRMB studios in Aston, Birmingham, and the signal was relayed from the Langley Mill transmitter (Birmingham) and Shilton (Coventry). The Coventry station was acquired in 1993 by GWR Group and replaced by Classic Gold, while the Birmingham station continued until 1998 when it was replaced by Capital Gold.

Galaxy was a radio network owned by Global Radio and broadcast across the British Isles on FM in regional areas of England and Scotland, through the digital platform with Sky and DAB and online respectively. Stations included stations: Galaxy Birmingham, Galaxy Manchester, Galaxy North East, Galaxy Scotland, Galaxy South Coast and Galaxy Yorkshire. Programming was networked throughout the stations from Leeds – excluding weekday breakfast/drivetime and weekend mornings. On Monday 28 April 2008, Galaxy was rebranded as a mainstream station by Creative Spark, with a brand new layout including a fresh logo and a completely new show schedule.

Capital Dance is a national digital radio station in the United Kingdom, owned and operated by Global and run as a spin-off from Capital. The station broadcasts from studios at Leicester Square in London alongside its siblings Capital, Capital Xtra and Capital Chill. The station predominantly plays contemporary and current electronic dance music. Capital Dance broadcasts nationally, transmitted on Digital One in the DAB+ format, and online. To enable the addition of the station to Digital One, several other Global stations on the platform, including Capital UK, Heart UK, Capital XTRA Reloaded, Gold and Heart 70s, saw a reduction in their broadcast bandwidth.
Heart 00s is a national digital radio station owned and operated by Global Media & Entertainment as a spin-off from the Heart radio network. The station broadcasts from studios at Leicester Square in London and was launched on 20 May 2022. Heart 00s has its own dedicated breakfast show, presented by Mike Panteli. Ashley Roberts of the Pussycat Dolls is also a presenter, with a programme airing on Saturday evenings. At other times, the station is mostly an automated service. The station is available on the Digital One multiplex while Global migrated Capital Xtra Reloaded to being available via DAB+ in London only to make way for the launch of Heart 00s.
