Sachet Engineer is an Indian actor and swimmer. He is best known for his role as Yohaan Awasthi (Dada) in the 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par ( Like Stars on Earth). He is the grandson of water polo champion, Ishwar Girdharlal Engineer. [1]
He attended Campion School, Mumbai. [2] A member of the Otters Club, he won his first gold medal in swimming at the age of five. He has since won a number of swimming medals, including four gold medals at the "36th Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association Championship" in 2009 [2] and five gold medals and a silver at the "27th Otters" in 2010. Taare Zameen Par, also known as Like Stars on Earth in English, is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language drama film produced and directed by Aamir Khan. The film stars Khan himself, along with Darsheel Safary, Tanay Chheda, Sachet Engineer, Vipin Sharma and Tisca Chopra. The film explores the life and imagination of Ishaan (Safary), an 8-year-old dyslexic child. Although he excels in art, his poor academic performance leads his parents to send him to a boarding school. Ishaan's new art teacher Nikumbh (Khan) suspects that he is dyslexic and helps him to overcome his reading disorder.

Aamir Khan is an Indian actor, producer, director and television personality. Khan first appeared on screen at the age of eight in a minor role in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973).
