Salvatore Gatto (born 17 May 1984 in Termini Imerese) is an Italian racing driver. He has competed in such series as International Formula Master and the Italian Formula Three Championship.

Coloni Motorsport, also known as Scuderia Coloni, was an auto racing team from Italy. Founded by former racing driver Enzo Coloni in 1983, the team participated in Formula Three between 1983 and 1986, before racing in Formula One as Enzo Coloni Racing Car Systems between 1987 and 1991. They made 82 attempts to take part in a Formula One race but only qualified 14 times. Since then, under the management of Enzo Coloni's son Paolo, the team has been successful in Formula Three, Formula 3000 and GP2 Series. Between 2006 and 2009 the team ran under the name of Fisichella Motor Sport, with support from Formula One driver Giancarlo Fisichella and his manager Enrico Zanarini.
The 2006 World Touring Car Championship season was the third season of FIA World Touring Car Championship motor racing. It featured a ten event, twenty race series which commenced on 2 April 2006 and ended on 19 November. The series was open to Super 2000, Diesel 2000 and Super Production Cars, with two titles awarded, the FIA World Touring Car Champion for Drivers and the FIA World Touring Car Champion for Manufacturers. Andy Priaulx won the Drivers title and BMW won the Manufacturers award.

Aurelio Palmieri was an Italian priest and scholar. He joined the Augustinians by 1885 but was later laicized. His main focus was theology, history of Christianity, Byzantine studies and eastern Christianity. Palmieri worked for some years at the Congress Library and from 1922 until his death was the director of the Slavonic section of the Institute for Oriental Europe in Italy. He wrote 15 books and hundreds of articles, and also translated literary works of Russian and polish authors. His most significant works are the Russian Church and Dogmatic Orthodox Theology.
The Circonvallazione massacre, in Italian Strage della Circonvallazione, is a Cosa Nostra attack that took place on 16 June 1982 on the Palermo ring road. The attack was directed against Catanese boss Alfio Ferlito, who was transferred from Enna to the Trapani jail, and died with the three escort carabinieri and the 22-year-old Giuseppe Di Lavore, the driver of the private company that had the transportation of prisoners, who had replaced his father. The mandator of this massacre was Nitto Santapaola, who was in a years-long war with Ferlito for predominance on the Catania territory.
