Wendy Dillinger is an American former professional soccer player and coach. She served as the head soccer coach at Washington University in St. Louis, Iowa State University, and the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and as an assistant at Indiana University.
Kerri Michel Hanks Petersen is an American soccer forward who last played for Sky Blue FC of Women's Professional Soccer. She is currently the head coach for the Clay County United Soccer Alliance U18 girls' soccer team. She will soon be taking over as the Director of Coaching for the girls side of the operation, for the GSA in Gainesville, Florida.
The NAU Lumberjacks are the varsity athletic teams representing Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona in intercollegiate athletics. The school's mascot was adopted in 1946. The Lumberjacks compete in NCAA Division I and are full members of the Big Sky Conference with the exception of the women's swimming and diving team which is an affiliate member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks men's basketball team represents Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, Arizona, in NCAA Division I men's competition. The school's team has competed in the Big Sky Conference since 1970. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was in 2000. Northern Arizona also appeared in the NCAA tournament in 1998. In 2023, the Lumberjacks have reached the Big Sky conference tournament title game as a Cinderella team as they were the 9th seed in the tournament. The 2022 Big Sky Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big Sky Conference held from November 2 to November 6, 2022. The five-match tournament took place at Jackson Stadium, home of the Northern Colorado Bears. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Montana Grizzlies were the defending champions. Montana was unable to defend their title as they lost to Idaho in the Semifinals. Northern Arizona won their first title since 2014 by defeating Idaho in the final on penalties 4–3 after the game finished tied 0–0. This was the fourth overall title for Montana, and the first title for head coach Alan Berrios. As tournament champions, Northern Arizona earned the Big Sky's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.
