Samson Okunlola (born October 12, 2004), [1] sometimes known as the "Pancake Honcho", [2] is an American football offensive tackle for the Miami Hurricanes.
Okunlola grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts, and attended the Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. [3] He was rated as a five-star recruit and one of the best players in the 2023 college football recruiting class, ranked at No. 16 by Rivals.com, ESPN.com, and 247Sports. [4] [5] He was the first five-star recruit from Massachusetts in the history of recruiting rankings. [6]
After receiving scholarship offers from more than 50 schools, Okunlola committed to the University of Miami in December 2022. [7] Along with Francis Mauigoa, Miami signed two of the top three tackles in the 2023 recruiting class. [2]
Thayer Academy (TA) is a private, co-educational, college-preparatory day school located in Braintree, Massachusetts, United States. The academy, conceived in 1871 at the bequest of General Sylvanus Thayer, known as the father of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and founder of the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, was established in 1877. Thayer annually enrolls approximately 470 students in the Upper School and an additional 220 students in the Middle School. The 34-acre (14 ha) campus is situated in the heart of Braintree and consists of eight buildings and 54 classrooms. Students are drawn primarily from Boston's MetroWest and South Shore communities.
Mario Manuel Cristobal is the Cuban-American head football coach of the Miami Hurricanes football team at the University of Miami. Cristobal previously was the head football coach at Florida International University (FIU) from 2007 to 2012 and the University of Oregon from 2017 to 2021. He was an all-conference offensive tackle on the Miami Hurricanes football team that won national championships in 1989 and 1991.
Arthur Brown Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats, earning All-American honors. Brown was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, and San Antonio Commanders.
Bryce Lee Brown is a former American football running back who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks. He attended the University of Tennessee his freshman year of college, but decided to transfer to Kansas State after head coach Lane Kiffin left the program for USC. Later that year, Volunteers coach Derek Dooley declined to release Brown from his scholarship, resulting in Brown sitting out the 2010 season at Kansas State due to NCAA transfer rules. Brown left the Kansas State football team early in the 2011 season to enter the 2012 NFL draft. In April 2012, Brown was drafted in the 7th round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Nathaniel Robinson is a former American football defensive tackle. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Once a heralded high school athlete, Robinson was an underachiever during his college football career at Rutgers and Akron.
Seantrel Henderson is an American former professional football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Miami.
Robert Chukwudumebi Nkemdiche is an American professional football defensive tackle who is a free agent. He most recently played for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He attended the University of Mississippi for three years until declaring early for the 2016 NFL draft where he was picked 29th overall by the Arizona Cardinals. He played for the Cardinals for three years from 2016 to 2018, the Miami Dolphins in 2019, and the Seattle Seahawks in 2021.

He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes and was selected ninth overall by the New York Giants in the 2015 NFL draft.
