Samson Okunlola (born c. 2004), sometimes known as the "Pancake Honcho", [1] is an American football offensive tackle for the Miami Hurricanes.

Early years

Okunlola grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts, and attended the Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. [2] He was rated as a five-star recruit and one of the best players in the 2023 college football recruiting class, ranked at No. 16 by Rivals.com, ESPN.com, and 247Sports. [3] [4] He was the first five-star recruit from Massachusetts in the history of recruiting rankings. [5]

Miami

After receiving scholarship offers from more than 50 schools, Okunlola committed to the University of Miami in December 2022. [6] Along with Francis Mauigoa, Miami signed two of the top three tackles in the 2023 recruiting class. [1]

Brown left the Kansas State football team early in the 2011 season to enter the 2012 NFL Draft. In April 2012, Brown was drafted in the 7th round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
