San Giacomo e Filippo is a Baroque-style Roman Catholic church in the town center of Pavia, Italy.
The present church was reconstructed in 1626 at the site of an earlier medieval church documented by 1250. Initially the church belonged to the Regular clerics of San Ciro. In 1680, it was passed to the Lazarist Mission of St Vincent, and then in 1887 to Padri Stimatini. Initially dedicated to St Phillip, by 1576 it was known by its present name.
The main altar has an Assumption and an Annunciation by il Montalto. To the right of the main altar is an Adoration of the Magi by Pietro Micheli, he also painted the St Vincent of Paoli in the second chapel on the left. The first chapel has an altarpiece of Saints Anthony and Francis by E. Acerbi, a relative of Mario Acerbi. The counterfacade has a lunette originally from the church of San Innocenzo (now suppressed), work by Agostino da Vaprio. [1]

The Portinari Chapel is a Renaissance chapel at the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio, Milan, northern Italy. Commenced in 1460 and completed in 1468, it was commissioned by Pigello Portinari as a private sepulchre and to house a silver shrine given by Archbishop Giovanni Visconti in 1340 containing the relic head of St. Peter of Verona, to whom the chapel is consecrated. The architect is unknown, the traditional attribution to Michelozzo having been succeeded with equal uncertainty by attributions to either Filarete or Guiniforte Solari, architect of the apses of the Certosa di Pavia and the church of San Pietro in Gessate in Milan.

Ourense Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church located in Ourense in northwestern Spain. Dedicated to St Martin, it was founded in 550. The first structure was restored by Alonso el Casto. The present mainly Gothic building was raised with the support of Bishop Lorenzo in 1220. Its local patroness is Saint Euphemia. There is a silver-plated shrine, and others of St Facundus and St Primitivus. The Christ's Chapel was added in 1567 by Bishop San Francisco Triccio. It contains an image of Christ, which was brought in 1330 from a small church on Cape Finisterre. John the Baptist's Chapel was created in 1468 by the Conde de Benavente. The Portal of Paradise is sculptured and enriched with figures of angels and saints, while the antique cloisters were erected in 1204 by Bishop Ederonio. The Capilla de la Maria Madre was restored in 1722, and connected by the cloisters with the cathedral. The eight canons were called Cardenales, as at Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, and they alone did services before the altar; this custom was recognised as "immemorial" by Pope Innocent III, in 1209. The cathedral, which has undergone an impressive transition of architectural styles of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical, was built to a Latin Cross plan. It has been a functional basilica since 1887. The cathedral has a crucifix that is held in great reverence all over Galicia.
