The Italian Riviera or Ligurian Riviera is the narrow coastal strip in Italy which lies between the Ligurian Sea and the mountain chain formed by the Maritime Alps and the Apennines. Longitudinally it extends from the border with France and the French Riviera near Ventimiglia eastwards to Capo Corvo which marks the eastern end of the Gulf of La Spezia and is close to the regional border between Liguria and Tuscany. The Italian Riviera thus includes nearly all of the coastline of Liguria. Historically the "Riviera" extended further to the west, through what is now French territory as far as Marseille.

As of 30 April 2017 its population was of 5,332. Camogli is one of the largest areas of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino, and a part of the Portofino Marine Protected Area.

Levanto is a comune (municipality) in the province of La Spezia in the Italian region of Liguria, located almost 90 kilometres (56 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of La Spezia. The town is on the coast at the mouth of a river valley, between hills thickly wooded with olive and pine trees. The ridges on either side of the valley thrust out into the sea as the headlands of Mesco and Levanto. The municipality forms part of the coastal district known as the Comunità Montana della Riviera Spezzina, and part of its territory is included in the Cinque Terre National Park.
Boccadasse is an old mariners' village of the Italian city of Genoa. It lies within the borders of the neighbourhood of Albaro. In today's administrative suddivision it is located in the Municipio VIII - Medio Levante area which includes the neighbourhoods of Albaro, Foce, San Martino. Boccadasse is bordered on the west side by Via Felice Cavallotti, by Via Caprera on the northern side and by Via Capo di Santa Chiara on the eastern side. Naturally, it is delimited by the sea to the south.

Part of the Riviera di Levante, it includes the communes of Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Zoagli, Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante. The name derives from the ancient Ligurian tribe, Tigullii.
Nozarego is a village in the commune of Santa Margherita Ligure in Liguria, Italy. It is a natural terrace over the Bay of Tigullio. Here there is the church of Santa Maria Assunta with a cobbled square in typical Ligurian style. From Nozarego, there are also several trails leading to the park of Portofino. Nozarego is located on a small road which runs between 2 areas of Santa Margherita. There's a much smaller slip road which comes from outside Nozarego and runs into it as well although there's no link between the 2 streets in Nozarego itself.
San Lorenzo Della Costa, more commonly known locally as just San Lorenzo, is a village and frazione in the commune of Santa Margherita Ligure in the province of Genoa in Liguria, Italy. It is located on Via Aurelia adjacent to the border with Camogli.
