Sandra Rucker

Sandra "Sandy" Rucker (born October 29, 1987 in Palm Springs, California), is a former competitive American figure skater. She was the 2005 U.S. national junior champion. Rucker was coached by Tammy Gambill. [1]

Rucker was one of four figure skaters featured on the 2006 TLC series, Ice Diaries . She was also one of Michelle Trachtenberg's skating doubles in the movie Ice Princess . [2] On June 27, 2007, Disney announced that Rucker would play the role of Sharpay Evans in Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour. [3]

Ice Capades

The Ice Capades were traveling entertainment shows featuring theatrical ice skating performances. Shows often featured former Olympic and US National Champion figure skaters who had retired from formal competition. Started in 1940, the Ice Capades grew rapidly and prospered for 50 years. A decline in popularity ensued in the 1980s, and the show went out of business around 1995. There have been several attempts to revive the show and its name.

Natasha Maria Hanako Kuchiki is an American former competitive pair skater. She is the 1991 World bronze medalist with Todd Sand.

The Ice Follies, formerly known as the Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies, is a touring ice show featuring elaborate production numbers, similar in concept to Ice Capades. It was founded in 1936 by Eddie and Roy Shipstad, and Oscar Johnson. In later years, Olympic skaters such as Donald Jackson, Barbara Berezowski, Peggy Fleming, and Janet Lynn were in the cast. Ice Follies also featured novelty acts such as Frick and Frack and Richard Dwyer, who was billed as "Mr. Debonair".

Amanda Billings

Amanda Billings is a Canadian figure skater. She had been expected to contend for the 2006 Winter Olympics, but an injury on December 21, 2005, prevented her doing so.

Ice Diaries is a documentary TV series on the TLC network that follows four up-and-coming American figure skaters through the 2005/2006 Olympic season as each tries to make the 2006 Olympic team. The four skaters are Beatrisa "Bebe" Liang, Alissa Czisny, Danielle Kahle, and Sandra Rucker. Rucker did not make it out of Regionals, the first step for qualifying for the United States Figure Skating Championships. Kahle won both her Regionals and Sectionals and placed twelfth at Nationals. Czisny placed second at Skate America and won Skate Canada International, but finish in last place at the Grand Prix Final and had two bad skates at Nationals and finished seventh. Liang came in fourth at Skate America and finished fifth at Nationals, the highest placement of the four skaters. After Rucker's season ended before the series did, the show profiled Jennifer Kirk and her decision to quit competitive skating the year before an Olympic year. None of the profiled skaters made the Olympic team. Created by co-executive producer Scott Williams and Dan Marinelli, Ice Diaries was produced by IMG Media in association with Turtle Island Productions.

Jordan Brauninger is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 2004 World Junior bronze medalist.

Caroline Zhang

Caroline Zhao Zhang is an American figure skater. She is a two-time Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2007 World Junior Champion, the 2006 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time U.S. national medalist.

Bradley Santer is an Australian figure skater who competed in men's singles. He became a two-time Australian national champion and appeared at multiple World and Four Continents Championships. He turned professional following the 2005–06 season.

Richard Dornbush is an American former figure skater. He is the 2014 Lombardia Trophy champion, 2010 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2011 U.S. national silver medalist. He competed at the 2011 World Championships and was an alternate for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Karen Chen American figure skater

Karen Chen is an American figure skater. She is a two-time CS U.S. Classic bronze medalist, the 2015 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist, and the 2017 U.S. national champion. Earlier in her career, she won four medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, including gold at the 2013 JGP Slovakia.
