Sangieta Rao (born 12 December 1973) is an Indian television and film director. Her work as a television director include TV shows like Pavitra Rishta , Jamai Raja for ZEE TV and Kkusum, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain [1] for Sony Entertainment Television (India). She won the Best Director award [2] for the Show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain . She is Directing a Marathi film Yes I Can. [3] [4]

The Producers Guild Film Awards, previously known as the Apsara Awards, is an award event hosted by the Producers Guild of India to recognize excellence in Hindi film and television. Originated by filmmaker and scholar Amit Khanna in 2004, the Guild Awards were one of the major award events from 2004 till 2016, when the last awards ceremony happened. The 22-karat gold statuette was sculpted and designed by the jewellery brand Tanishq and was "inspired by the rich heritage of one of India's most treasured possessions – the Ajanta and Ellora Caves." Nominations for the awards come from selected members of the guild, with the full membership available to vote for the winners. The ballots cast by the guild members are then taken to a common venue for the final counting.

<i>Bade Achhe Lagte Hain</i> 2011-14 Indian television soap opera

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a Hindi Indian soap opera that aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 30 May 2011 to 10 July 2014. Based on the Gujarati play Patrani by Imtiaz Patel, the soap opera was created and produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The title of the show, along with the title-track, was derived from a song composed by R.D. Burman, from the soundtrack of the 1976 Bollywood film Balika Badhu. Ekta Kapoor had got the name, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, registered about six years before the soap opera premiered.
