Sanjay Yadaorao Dhote is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Rajura Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] He had unsuccessfully contested the 2009 elections on Swatantra Bharat Paksha (SBP) ticket but lost to Subhash Dhote of the Indian National Congress. [2] His 2014 victory has been described as an upset win. [3] He has failed to provide employment for youths and his performance in assembly is not satisfactory.

Bhau Jambhuwantrao Dhote was an Indian politician. Known by his supporters as The Lion of Vidharbha, he was Member of Parliament from Nagpur in 1971 to 5th Lok Sabha, defeating his Congress rival. When Indira Gandhi split Congress in January 1978, he joined her Congress(I) party. He was elected for second time from Nagpur in 1980 to 7th Lok Sabha as a Congress candidate.

The Vidarbha movement includes political activities organised by various individuals, organizations and political parties, for creation of a separate state of Vidarbha, within the republic of India, with Nagpur as the capital. The proposed state corresponds to the eastern 11 districts of the state of Maharashtra. It makes up for 31% of area and 21% of population of the present state of Maharashtra.The area is covered by thick tropical forests and is surplus in electricity, minerals, rice and cotton.

He is the only candidate for Indian national Congress to be elected as MP from Maharashtra. He was nominated as the Lok Sabha candidate after resigning as MLA from Shiv Sena and joined the Indian National Congress Party

Rajendra Waman Najardhane is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Umarkhed Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He had unsuccessfully contested the 2009 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections on the BJP ticket but lost to Vijay Khadse of the Indian National Congress. His victory was amongst the five seats won by the BJP, that resulted in the Indian National Congress (INC) not being able to win a single seat in Yavatmal district once its stronghold.

Subhash Ramchandrarao Dhote is an Indian politician from Maharashtra and a member of the Indian National Congress in 2009 and 2019. He was elected as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Rajura.
