Sant Vicent de sa Cala is a hamlet in the northeast of the Spanish island of Ibiza. [1] Sant Vicent de sa Cala is in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja and is a short distance west of the beach and holiday resort of Cala de Sant Vicent. [2] The hamlet is on the north side of the designated road EI-321 which runs west to south between Sant Joan de Labritja and Cala de Sant Vicent. It is 18.8 miles (30.3 km) north east of Ibiza Town and 23.4 miles (37.7 km) from Ibiza Airport. [1]
Sant Vicent de sa Cala is the smallest settlement on the island of Ibiza and is 3.0 kilometres (1.9 mi) [2] west along a valley from the resort of Cala de Sant Vicent. The hamlet consists of several houses around a small rural church [2] which is reached by taking a turn off the EI-321 northwards. The Església Sant Vicent was constructed between 1827 and 1838. [3] The church has a double arched porch and sits in front of a tiny plaza contains a solitary palm tree. [2] The façade is very plain except for a small plaque which states that the church is the house of God and gate to heaven. [2]
Santa Eulària des Riu is a coastal town on the south eastern coast of the Spanish island of Ibiza. The town is located on the designated road EI-200. Santa Eulària is the third largest town on the island and also has the only river on the island which flows into the sea at the western end of the town.
Sant Joan de Labritja is a village and municipality of the Balearic Islands on northern Ibiza. Among others, the resorts of Portinatx and Cala de Sant Vicent are located there. The actual village of Sant Joan is a quiet street, dominated by an imposing Christian church, and is the meeting point of Sant Joan de Labritja Municipal Council. One may find several small cafés and restaurants (including the locally well-known Vista Alegre, as well as a taxi rank, outside the Municipal Council building and the local office of the Guardia Civil, the Spanish Civil Guard. Towards the west of the village is the origin of the Torrent de Labritja, a tributary of the Riu de Santa Eulária, the Balearic Island's only constant-flowing river, although the Torrent only contains water during the winter months; throughout the tourist season, the stream is a dry river bed full of green vegetation.
Sant Llorenç de Balàfia is a small village in the north central area of the Spanish island of Ibiza. The village is in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja. Sant Carles de Peralta is a village in the north east of Ibiza, Spain. The village is in the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu and is located on the designated road EI-200. The village is 21.6 miles (34.8 km) North East of Ibiza Town and 28.3 miles (45.5 km) of Ibiza Airport. 5.0 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the South east of the village is the coastal resort of Es Canar.
Port de Sant Miguel is a small beach resort with a white, sandy beach on the north west coast of Ibiza. This small settlement was once the fisherman's port for the nearby village of Sant Miquel de Balansat. The resort is situated in a small, sheltered inlet surrounded by steep cliffs which are topped with pine woodland and scrub. At the head of the cove is a small sandy beach. Behind the beach there are a number of shops, bars and restaurants. Beyond the commercial area and set on the side of the inlet there are several large hotels and apartment developments as well as some private residential property.
Sant Miquel de Balansat is a village in the northeast of the Spanish island of Ibiza. The village is in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja and is located on the designated road EI-400. The village is 10.9 miles (17.5 km) north of Ibiza Town and 15.1 miles (24.3 km) from Ibiza Airport. 5.0 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the north of the village is the coastal resort of Port de Sant Miquel.
