Santosh is a medical institute located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was granted deemed university status under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 on 13 June 2007. [1] It is parent university of Santosh Medical College.

Santosh Sivan is an Indian cinematographer, film director, producer and actor known for his works in Malayalam cinema, Tamil cinema and Hindi cinema. Santosh graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has to date completed 55 feature films and 50 documentaries. He is a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC) and is the most awarded Director of Photography (DOP) in India. Santosh became the first Cinematographer in the Asia-Pacific region to join the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) membership. As a cinematographer, he has won five National Film Awards – including four for Best Feature Film Cinematography. As of 2014, he has received eleven National Film Awards, and twenty one international awards for his works. He was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to Indian cinema in 2014.

The Senior National Football Championship or Santosh Trophy is a football knock-out competition contested by the regional state associations and government institutions under the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the sport's governing body in India. Before the starting of the first national club league, the National Football League in 1996, the Santosh Trophy was considered the top domestic championship in India. Many players who have represented India internationally played and gained accolades while playing in the Santosh Trophy. The tournament is held every year with 31 teams who are divided into groups and who must qualify for the tournament proper through the preliminary round. Santosh Kumar Gangwar is an Indian politician and the former Minister of State with independent charge in the Ministry of Labour and Employment in the Government of India. He is a Member of Parliament, former minister of state in Government of India and a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has been Member of Parliament for the city of Bareilly since 1989 till date. He was also the chief whip of the party in 14th Lok Sabha. Santosh Kumar Kacker is an Indian otorhynolaryngologist and a former director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He graduated in medicine in 1960 and completed his post graduate degree (MS) in Otorhynolaryngology from the present day King George's Medical University, Lucknow, in 1963 to start his medical practice. He also secured the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of London in 1968.
