Saptahik was a weekly tabloid published by Kantipur Publications in Nepal. [1] [2] [3] It was one of the popular newspapers among youth in Nepal. It stopped publishing after Covid-19 hit the nation.

Kantipur is a Nepali language daily newspaper, published from Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj, and Bharatpur of Nepal simultaneously. It was founded by Shyam Goenka. Kantipur's publishers report that the circulation of this newspaper is just above 453,000 copies per day. It is regarded as the most widely read newspaper in Nepal; according to an audience survey in 2016, over half of those who read newspapers in Nepal were readers of Kantipur, considerably more than any other newspapers. The Kathmandu Post is a major daily newspaper published in Nepal. Founded in February 1993 by Shyam Goenka, it is one of the largest English-language newspapers in the country. The newspaper is independently owned and published by Kantipur Publications, the owners of Nepal's largest selling newspaper, the Nepali-language Kantipur. Post is a member of the Asia News Network, an alliance of nineteen Asian newspapers. The Kathmandu Post is Nepal's first privately owned English broadsheet daily, and is Nepal's largest selling English language newspaper, with a daily circulation of 95,000 copies.

Senti Virus is a 2020 comedy-drama film directed by Ram Babu Gurung and written by Kumar Kattel and Dipak Acharya. The film is produced by Dindu Lama Hyolmo under the banner of Subihani Films. The film stars Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire in the lead roles, with Dayahang Rai, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang, and Rajaram Poudel.

The 2004 Nepal riots were a series of riots between 31 August to 6 September 2004. Thousands of people rioted in cities and towns across Nepal, which saw looting, arson, as well as imposed curfew and the deaths of two people.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Dashain Aayo</span> Nepali song

Dashain Aayo, also known as Kodo Fulyo Barima, is a Nepalese song from the film Muglan, which was released in 2005. The song depicts the celebration of the biggest Hindu festival in Nepal, Dashain. It is regarded as an evergreen Dashain song, and is still prominent among Nepali people, especially during the celebration of Dashain. It was sung by Udit Narayan, Deepa Jha, Narayan Lama, and Juna Prasai. The lyrics were written by Loknath Sapkota and the music was composed by Suresh Adhikari.
