Sarathan Records is an indie rock record label based in Seattle, Washington. The label was formed in 2005 by Jonathan Kochmer, a member of indie band Two Loons For Tea.
Indie rock is a subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Although the term was originally used to describe rock music released through independent record labels, by the 1990s it became more widely associated with the music such bands produced.
Beat Happening was an American indie pop band formed in Olympia, Washington, in 1982. Calvin Johnson, Heather Lewis, and Bret Lunsford have been the band's continual members. Beat Happening were early leaders in the American indie pop and lo-fi movements, noted for their use of primitive recording techniques, disregard for the technical aspects of musicianship, and songs with subject matters of a carefree or coy nature.
Indie pop is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. In later years, the definition of indie pop has bifurcated to also mean bands from unrelated DIY scenes/movements with pop leanings. Subgenres include chamber pop and twee pop.
Corn Mo is the stage name of Jon Cunningham, an American, Brooklyn-based musician. Corn Mo sings, plays the accordion, keyboards, and sometimes performs as a one man band. His music style is a mixture of circus music, glam rock, and humorous novelty songs. He is currently recording his third solo album, and albums with his band .357 Lover. Many of his songs and stylings are heavily influenced by Meat Loaf and Queen.

He is best known for his work with rapper Puff Daddy and tenure at his label, Bad Boy Records; Loon most notably guest appeared on his 2002 singles "I Need a Girl " and "I Need a Girl ," which peaked at numbers two and four on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

Rachel Sage Piña-Trachtenburg, professionally known as Rachel Trachtenburg, is an American musician. She is most notable for her key role as drummer and backup vocalist of the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, a family band consisting of herself and her parents, Jason and Tina, from 2000 to 2011. Trachtenburg was also lead singer of the band Supercute! from 2009 to 2013, and is currently the guitarist and vocalist for New York–based trio Wooing. In addition, Trachtenburg is also a model, signed to Elite Model Management; a radio talk show host for Gary Null's Progressive Radio Network; and an actress who appeared in indie movies Happy Birthday in 2004, Ruchiki in 2011, and Exteriors in 2014, as well as a television pilot for an unaired children's TV show titled Rachel Trachtenburg's Homemade World in 2009.
Téo & Téa is the sixteenth studio album by French electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre, released in 2007 on Aero Productions and Warner Music labels. Two singles were released, the first, "Téo & Téa", as a promotional for clubs and radio stations and then as a general release. The second, "Vintage", was released in digital download format only, on July 16, 2007, and included two remixes by ATB.

The first production under the label, was co-signed to Gulcher Records and has since received instant recognition in the underground, indie rock world, helping with the founding and early progression of the label.
Two Loons for Tea are a musical duo consisting of singer Sarah Scott and instrumentalist Jonathan Kochmer. Formed in Seattle in 1999, they have released three albums on Sarathan Records. Their first album was an eponymous release in 2001, followed by Looking for Landmarks in 2002. In 2007 they released Nine Lucid Dreams, which was nominated for best pop/rock album of 2008 in the Independent Music Awards.
