Savannah was born to Chris Christian (Smith) and Shanon Smith. Her father is a music producer and recording Artist (CC Entertainment), [1] and is an owner of a WNBA Team "Tulsa Shock". [2] Her mother Shanon graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Savannah was a standout athlete at an early age playing on many championship soccer and basketball teams in Dallas, Texas including the private school "Dallas Covenant" as well as summer league basketball and soccer teams. She eventually lead Dallas Covenant to the basketball State Championships as a sophomore, was all District four consecutive years, and was awarded All State all four years of high school. Her junior year in high school she played in the National Media game between Dallas Covenant and Dallas Academy which ended in the score of 100-0. The game was referenced by Jay Leno on the "Tonight Show", the front page of the Dallas News, the pre game of the Super Bowl, ESPN's "Outside The Lines" and thousands of other media outlets. [3]
During the summers, she played on "Team Texas" [4] coached by Ron Gathrite her Sophomore summer and Elite California Storm her Junior summer (with Chelesa Grey - Duke) [5] coached by George Quinteo her Junior summer. [6]
In 2010 she signed a full basketball scholarship with Abilene Christian University. She played guard for Abilene Christian University women's basketball team which won the Lone Star Conference in the 2012-2013 season. [7] She was presented with the Honor Roll Athlete award for her sophomore and junior year at Abilene Christian University. [8]
At the invitation of Jerry Colangelo (President of USA Basketball), Savannah spent the summer of 2012 in London working with basketball TEAM USA (men's and women's) in London at the Olympics where both Men and Women brought home a GOLD MEDAL. [9] [10]
Savannah is listed on the "Top Modern Women's Basketball Hall" and "Women's Basketball Pioneers" because of her two high school games in which she scored 48 points per game. [11]
Savannah is a Five Time State Track Champion for High Jump, Long Jump, 220, and 4X220 relay. [12]

Abilene High School is a public 6A high school located in Abilene, Texas, and is part of the Abilene Independent School District. Abilene High School is the name given to three different schools in the past 150 years. The first Abilene High was an old warehouse. Not long after that, the school was moved to what was the former Lincoln Middle School. In 1955, Abilene High was moved to its current location at N 6th and Mockingbird. Its main rival in sports is Cooper High School. The Abilene High Marching Band is accepted to be the oldest marching band in Texas. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.
A'Quonesia Krashun Franklin, also known as Aqua, is an American basketball coach and former player. She played two seasons in the WNBA. She was a three-year captain of the Texas A&M team from the 2005–06 to 2007–08 seasons. She received All-America honorable mention honors from the Associated Press two times, and has also received all-Big 12 honors. In May 2019, she was named the head coach of the Lamar University women's basketball team.

Diggins was drafted third overall by the Tulsa Shock in the 2013 WNBA draft. In high school, she was the National Gatorade Player of the Year, the Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year. Diggins played point guard for Notre Dame, where she led Notre Dame to three consecutive Final Fours and two consecutive NCAA championship appearances. She finished her Notre Dame career ranked first in points and steals, second in assists, and as a two-time winner of the Nancy Lieberman Award as the top point guard in the nation.

Britt Bonneau is an American college baseball coach who had been the head coach at Abilene Christian (ACU) from 1997 to the competition of the 2018 season. Under Bonneau, ACU played in nine NCAA Tournaments. Previously, he was an assistant at UTSA, Lubbock Christian, and Abilene Christian. Bonneau played professional baseball in the mid-1990s after playing college baseball at Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma.

The 2017–18 Abilene Christian Wildcats women's basketball team represented Abilene Christian University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by sixth year head coach Julie Goodenough, played their home games at the Moody Coliseum. They finished the season 16–14, 9–9 in Southland play to finish in seventh place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southland Women's Tournament where they lost to Central Arkansas.
The 2018–19 Abilene Christian Wildcats women's basketball team represented Abilene Christian University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by seventh year head coach Julie Goodenough, played their home games at the Moody Coliseum. They finished the season 23–10, 13–5 in Southland play to finish in fourth place. They won the Southland Women's Tournament to earn an automatic to the NCAA Women's Tournament for the first time in school history. They lost in the first round to Baylor.
