Sawantwadi toys refers to hand made works of art made of wood in Sawantwadi a town in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, an Indian state. [1] It is reported that the makers of these toys face the challenge of competition from mass-produced cheap Chinese products. A news story dated May, 2013, bemoans the lack of state support to this traditional art form. [2]

Bengaluru Suburban Railway is an under construction suburban rail network for the city of Bengaluru. A Suburban Rail system for the city was first proposed in 1983. Since then, several different route proposals were made but no Suburban Rail project took shape. It was finally approved in the 2019 Railway Budget.
