Coordinates: 27°50′28″N82°40′08″W / 27.841°N 82.669°W Sawgrass Lake Park is a 333-acre (1.35 km2) park located in Pinellas County, Florida. The park offers a road for biking and in-line skating, as well as birdwatching, hiking, and picnicking. Located at 7400 25th St. North in St. Petersburg, Florida, [1] it is one of the largest maple swamps on the Gulf Coast and includes an elevated mile-long boardwalk and half-mile dirt trail that "provide opportunities to see birds, butterflies, plants and animals in their natural settings within the most densely populated county in Florida." The property is managed by the Pinellas County Parks & Recreation Department, the Pinellas County School District {{Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Dept.} and the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
