The Tampa Bay Executive Airport was a private airport located on State Road 54 in the town of Odessa, Florida. It was owned and subsequently sold by Dr. James P. Gills. The airport was permanently closed on October 1, 2004, after which the hangars and other buildings were removed from the airpark. The runway remained as of March 2007, marked with several of the standard FAA Xs. Most of it has been cleared in favor of new construction, with about 500 feet remaining on the east end. An industrial park has been slated for construction on the site. As of 2017, the last remaining portion of the runway was removed.

Steve Marshall is a Tokyo-based magician, clown, writer and artist who performs in English and Japanese. Marshall became interested in magic at age eight when he received a Marshall Brodien TV Magic Set for Christmas. In 1983 Marshall attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in Venice, Florida. Upon graduation, he was one of only eleven students to receive a performing contract to tour with The Greatest Show on Earth.

The Wildwood Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in Florida. It runs along CSX's S Line from Baldwin south to Zephyrhills via Ocala and Wildwood for a total of 155.7 miles. The S Line is CSX's designation for the line that was the Seaboard Air Line Railroad main line from 1903 to 1967.

The Tampa and Thonotosassa Railroad was a 13-mile railroad line running from Tampa, Florida northeast to Thonotosassa. The line began operation in 1893 and began at a junction with the South Florida Railroad in Tampa. The line had a station in Thonotosassa. The line was bought out by the Plant System in 1901 which was then sold to the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1902.
