History
Scapegoat Wax produced three albums during their active years: Luxurious (1999), [3] Okeeblow (2001), and SWAX (2002). Many of the same songs appear on all three albums, with each adding refinements to existing songs and some original material. The band was associated with three different labels. They were originally part of Grand Royal Records, but when that label folded, they moved on to Hollywood Records before eventually splitting up not long after the release of SWAX, in favor of returning to their indie label roots. Jonny Z was in the band for a relatively brief time, but he was active in Scapegoat Wax's earliest tracks, primarily those on Luxurious, and was mentioned in each recorded version of the song "Almost Fine."
The live band featured Koool G Murder on bass who has also played for Everlast and now plays with Eels. The band supported the Fun Lovin' Criminals on a UK tour in the early 2000s.
Marty James and MDA became a part of a similar-sounding band called One Block Radius in 2003, and continue to produce music together.
In October 2021, it was announced that the first two singles from a new album, entitled Atomic Slam!, would be released on November 17, 2021. The next two singles, "Around Midnight" and "Kick Ya Feet Up", were released on February 16, 2022. The final single of the Atomic Slam! trilogy was released on March 29, 2022. The full album was released later that year on May 20, 2022, featuring 4 additional songs not featured in the Atomic Slam! trilogy. These songs were "Move On", "Farther", "C'mon C'mon", and "Theme From 90z Dad".
Freda Charcilia Payne is an American singer and actress. Payne is best known for her career in music during the mid-1960s through the mid-1980s. Her most notable record is her 1970 hit single "Band of Gold". Payne was also an actress in musicals and film, as well as the host of a TV talk show. Turin Brakes are an English band, comprising original duo of Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, and long-term collaborators Rob Allum and Eddie Myer. They had a UK top 5 hit in 2003 with their song "Painkiller ". Since starting out in 1999, the band have sold around one million records worldwide. They are currently signed to Cooking Vinyl.
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a punk rock supergroup and cover band that formed in San Francisco in 1995. The band's lineup consists of Spike Slawson, Fat Mike, Joey Cape, and Dave Raun. Chris Shiflett is a former member.
Ned's Atomic Dustbin are an English rock band formed in Stourbridge, West Midlands, in November 1987. The band took their name from an episode of radio comedy programme The Goon Show. The band is unusual for using two bass-players in their line-up: Alex Griffin plays melody lines high up on one bass, and Matt Cheslin plays the regular bass lines on the other. This gives the band a tense and highly driven sub-hardcore sound featuring distorted effects-laden guitar and energetic drums.
Sahara Hotnights are a Swedish rock band from Robertsfors. Since its inception, the band has been composed of lead singer Maria Andersson, drummer Josephine Forsman and sisters Jennie and Johanna (bass) Asplund. Their style incorporates elements of garage rock, power pop and punk rock. The band scored two top-ten singles and five top-ten albums in their native Sweden during their initial run between 1992 and 2011. The band reformed in 2019, releasing their seventh album Love in Times of Low Expectations in 2022.
Jet Set Radio Future is a 2002 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Xbox; it is a sequel to the Dreamcast game Jet Set Radio (2000). As a re-imagining of the original game, it features refined gameplay mechanics, updated graphics, larger open world environments, new characters, an altered plot, a new soundtrack and multiplayer gameplay. The player controls members of the youth street gang, the GGs, that use inline skates to traverse a futuristic Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs and evading authorities. Like the original, Future also uses a cel-shaded style of animation.

6Gig is an American rock band from the Portland, Maine area. It is classified by reviewers as alternative rock and nu metal. They actively played at clubs and different locations throughout New England. They released two CDs and several singles, as well as a video for the song "Hit the Ground" that received airplay on MTV2. Before the release of "Mind Over Mind", the band parted ways with drummer Dave Rankin and was joined by drummer Jason Stewart. Shortly after this, Rankin was found dead from a mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol.
