Scarlet is a metalcore band from Richmond, Virginia currently on a long term hiatus.
Scarlet formed in Yorktown, Virginia in the late 1990s. [1] In 2000, the band released its first EP Breaking the Dead Stare. Shortly afterward, Scarlet disbanded with Jon Spencer leaving to perform vocals for Virginia Beach-based metalcore band, Spitfire. Scarlet reformed in 2003 with Spencer returning on vocals. Scarlet released Something to Lust About on Ferret Music. The EP served as a teaser for Scarlet's first full-length album, Cult Classic. [2] At its live shows prior to Cult Classic's release, Scarlet would perform Something to Lust About straight through. Cult Classic was released in March 2004 on Ferret Music. After Cult Classic's release, Spencer again left Scarlet to perform vocals for Spitfire. While recording local Richmond band, Forever in a Day (FIAD)'s 2005 Demo, Andres Magnusson recruited FIAD's singer to perform vocals for Scarlet. In mid 2005, Scarlet was reformed with Brandon Roundtree performing vocals. Scarlet released its second full-length album, This Was Always Meant To Fall Apart in January 2006. [3] After completing a US tour in support of the record, Brandon Roundtree left Scarlet to form Conditions. Scarlet is on hiatus and are currently working on other projects. Andreas Magnusson engineers and produces music at his recording studio. Randy Vanderbilt continues to create music with his new band, These City Limits. [1]
In August 2014, Scarlet released 2 new songs recorded in 2009 entitled "The Acid Reign I" and "The Acid Reign II". [4]

Mountain was an American hard rock band formed in Long Island, New York, in 1969. Originally consisting of vocalist-guitarist Leslie West, bassist-vocalist Felix Pappalardi, keyboardist Steve Knight, and drummer N. D. Smart, the group disbanded in 1972, but reunited on several occasions prior to West's death in 2020. They are best-known for their 1970 smash hit song "Mississippi Queen", which remains a staple of classic rock radio, as well as the heavily sampled song "Long Red", and their performance at Woodstock Festival in 1969. Mountain is one of many bands commonly credited with influencing the development of heavy metal music during the 1970s. The group's musical style primarily consisted of hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal.
Killswitch Engage is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Killswitch Engage, released July 4, 2000 through Ferret Music. The album is the only release ever by Killswitch Engage to be released through Ferret, the band would later be signed to Roadrunner Records, where their follow-up LP, Alive or Just Breathing was released. The band's debut is considered to be one of the first ever successful albums in the metalcore genre, garnering a re-release five years after its original pressing. No songs in the album were released as singles.

Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest is the third studio album by American metalcore band Zao on Solid State/Tooth & Nail. It was the first album to feature vocalist Dan Weyandt after the departure of Shawn Jonas along with new bassists/guitarists, Russ Cogdell and Brett Detar. The album contains a sample from the film The Shining at the end of "Lies of Serpents, A River of Tears", as well as a sample from the horror film The Prophecy during the intro to "Ravage Ritual". Dreamer is the fourth studio album by Christian metalcore band Haste the Day. The album was released on October 14, 2008 through Solid State Records. A song from the album, entitled "68" was released on the band's MySpace on August 1. A second new song, the second track off the album entitled "Mad Man," was made available for download on iTunes September 9. The third song Haste the Day has announced the release of is "Haunting," which was posted on the band's Myspace on September 6, 2008. The final track on the album, "Autumn" is originally from Haste the Day's first release That They May Know You. They released a music video for the song Mad Man on February 24, 2009. This is the last album to feature Devin Chaulk, Brennan Chaulk and Jason Barnes.

Eidola is an American rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, formed in 2011. The band consists of lead vocalist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Wells, guitarist Sergio Medina, bass guitarist James Johnson, guitarist and unclean vocalist Matthew Dommer, and drummer Matthew Hansen. They self-released their debut studio album, The Great Glass Elephant, in 2012. The group signed to Blue Swan Records in 2014 and released their second and third albums, Degeneraterra (2015) and To Speak, To Listen (2017). In December 2017, lead guitarist Brandon Bascom left the band and was replaced by Royal Coda guitarist Sergio Medina.
