Arunachal Pradesh is a state in Northeastern India. It was formed from the erstwhile North-East Frontier Agency (NEFA) region, and became a state on 20 February 1987. It borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south. It shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east, and a disputed border with China in the north at the McMahon Line. Itanagar is the state capital of Arunachal Pradesh. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is a science and technology oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, Papum Pare district, in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Nirjuli is a town in the Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh in Northeast India. It is 19 km (12 mi) away from Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, and it takes about 40–45 minutes by road from Nirjuli to Itanagar. The National Highway 52A is a highway that runs through the town and provides the primary platform for easy transportation and access within the town and to the outside world as well. The Pare River, the only river flowing by the town which adds to its exquisite beauty, and ultimately flows into the Brahmaputra River.
National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh is a public technical and research institute near Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. NIT Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. NIT Arunachal Pradesh started its functioning from 2010 in a temporary campus in Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh. The institute presently functions from its permanent Campus at Jote, Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh.
Cotton University is a public state university located in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established in 2017 by the provisions of an Act from the Assam Legislative Assembly which merged Cotton College State University and Cotton College. The University has progressed to become one of the top 200 institutions of the country.
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur is one of the IIITs set up by Ministry of Education, Government of India in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It is located on the southern bank of the Ganga River in Bhagalpur, the 2nd largest city of Bihar. It was declared as an Institute of National Importance (INI) in September 2020 by Parliament of India. It's new building/campus is under construction and is expected to be completed by May 2023.
