The School District of Slinger educates students from K4 through 12th grade residing in the southeastern Wisconsin municipalities of Slinger, Addison, St. Lawrence, Polk, and portions of Richfield, Jackson, Hartford, and West Bend, in Washington County, Wisconsin. [1]

The unincorporated communities of Addison, Allenton, Aurora, Nenno, and Saint Anthony are located with the town. The unincorporated community of Saint Lawrence is also located partially in the town.

Polk, Wisconsin Town in Wisconsin, United States

Polk is a town in Washington County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,938 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Ackerville, Cedar Creek, Cedar Lake, Diefenbach Corners, Mayfield, and Rugby Junction are located in the town. The town derives its name from James K. Polk, 11th U.S. President, who was in office when Wisconsin attained statehood in 1848.

The Slinger High School was remodeled in 1991 and 1998; adding district office space, gymnasium, band room, cafeteria, main office and library, as well as new classrooms. In 2008, an undeveloped area in the high school was constructed into a weight lifting room.

Slinger High School is a public high school in Slinger, Wisconsin. It is administered by the School District of Slinger. Its athletic teams are named the Owls. The school's marching band performed at the 2001 Presidential Inauguration parade and the 2009 London New Year's Day Parade.

In 1995, middle school students moved into the new Slinger Middle School, creating more space for faculty, staff and students in the subsequently remodeled Slinger Elementary School.

In 2002, a new elementary school was built in Addison. [1]

Slinger is a member of the North Shore Conference.
