The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, is an academic unit within The Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Ottawa. Until 2011 it was called the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE), which remains the name of a building on the southern edge of campus.
It was formed in 1997 by the merger of the Department of Computer Science and of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
It teaches undergraduate programs in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science, and offers education up to the PhD level.

The Polytechnic is the traditional name for institutions of higher education in Greece, dealing with engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are currently two polytechnics that operate as independent (public) universities and five polytechnic schools that belong to universities. They consist mainly of Engineering departments and their undergraduate programs have a duration of 5 years (full-time). The legal framework of their operation is the same as the one of the universities, and their graduates have equal rights with the graduates of public Greek universities. She is the Augustine Professor in Engineering in the Departments of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at Princeton University. Formerly, she was the Fred Kavli Professor of Computer Science at Harvard University and the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In 2017, Nagpal co-founded a robotics company under the name of Root Robotics. This educational company works to create many different opportunities for those unable to code to learn how.
The TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) is a school of the Technical University of Munich, established in 2022 by the merger of three former departments.
