Oxford Brookes University's School of Law is joint third placed University Law School in England and Wales (joint sixth placed out of all 115 Universities/ FE Colleges in the United Kingdom that offer Law degrees) in the 2016 National Student Survey, with 97% student satisfaction rates. Law courses provided by Oxford Brookes also are ranked in the top 150-200 bracket of the QS World University Subject Rankings. [1] The Law School was also 16th placed Law School in the 2016 Guardian Good University guide, gaining legal media coverage for outranking several 'Russell Group' Law schools. [2] The Law School was also in the top 30 of institutions for the study of undergraduate law in the 2015 Times/ Sunday Times Good University Guide, with Law courses placed at 28th out of 100 UK university law schools - again higher than several Russell Group law schools. [3] [4] Moreover, The University has been successful historically in various national and international mooting competitions, in 2015 winning both the ESU Essex Court National Competition and the Inner Temple Inter-Varsity Mooting Competition, meaning the national Magna Carta moot - to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the signing of Magna Carta - will be between two Oxford Brookes teams. [5]

Oxford Brookes Law Society

The school has a student-run society called The Oxford Brookes Law Society that organises a variety of events such as the Annual Christmas Ball, visits to the Old Bailey and the Royal Courts of Justice, trips to the European Parliament and the European Court of Human Rights, along with talks from leading lawyers and others.

The Law Society has over 500 active members from various subjects of study and seeks to ensure that all students who are interested in a career in law, strive to do their best and develop whilst at Oxford Brookes University.

Edinburgh Law School

Edinburgh Law School, founded in 1707, is a school within the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom dedicated to research and teaching in law. It is located in the historic Old College, the original site of the University. Two of the twelve currently sitting Supreme Court of the United Kingdom justices are graduates of Edinburgh, including the current President and Deputy President.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Law was founded in 1895. It became a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools in 1900. Its primary home facility is the Barco Law Building. The Dundee Law School is the law school of the University of Dundee in Scotland. National University of Study and Research in Law

National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) is a National Law University located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established by a legislative act, by the State of Jharkhand as the fourteenth National Law University of India. Kesava Rao, Vurrakula is the present Vice-Chancellor of the university and he took reins from the former Vice-Chancellor (In-charge) Gautam Kumar Choudhury. Earlier, he was the Vice-Chancellor (In-charge) of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Vishakhapatnam. A.K. Koul was the founding Vice-Chancellor of the university, who specialized in international trade law, especially on WTO. Earlier he was the vice-chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur. The university is located on Kanke-Pithoria Road on the outskirts of Ranchi just ahead of Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences and Birsa Agricultural University surrounded by Outer Ranchi Ring Road. It was formally inaugurated by the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court and Supreme Court Judge designate Justice Gyan Sudha Misra on 26 April 2010. The 63.76-acre site is among the largest National Law Universities in India. It was ranked 7th in Qs world ranking of Indian law school and continues to remain 12th best Law and research institute in South East region in 2021, with its research editable reports in Harvard and Yale law journal.

Yong Pung How School of Law

The Yong Pung How School of Law is one of the six schools of Singapore Management University. It was set up as Singapore's second law school in 2007, 50 years after the NUS Faculty of Law and 10 years before SUSS School of Law. Before becoming a law school, the school was a Law Department within the School of Business between 2000 and 2007. Up until 2021, the school was known as the SMU School of Law; in 2021, it was renamed after former Chief Justice Yong Pung How.

Penn State Law Law school in University Park, Pa.

Penn State Law, located in University Park, Pennsylvania, is one of two separately accredited law schools of the Pennsylvania State University. Penn State Law offers J.D., LL.M., and S.J.D. degrees. The school also offers a joint J.D./M.B.A. with the Smeal College of Business, a joint J.D./M.I.A. degree with the School of International Affairs, which is also located in the Lewis Katz Building, as well as joint degrees with other graduate programs at Penn State.
