Scott Christian Sava (born December 4, 1968) is an American animator, illustrator, director, and producer. [1] Sava was born in Yonkers, New York and now lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his family. [2]
Scott Christian Sava attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California during the 1980s where he studied to become a painter. [3]
Sava is known for his graphic novel comic and animated film, Animal Crackers that appeared on Netflix. [3] Sava illustrated Marvel's Spider-Man Quality of Life comics and worked to design covers for Star-Trek. [3] Sava also wrote and illustrated The Dreamland Chronicles comics for his two sons. [4] Sava also wrote the books Hyperactive and Cameron and His Dinosaurs.
Animal Crackers was directed by Sava and Tony Bancroft. [5] Animal Crackers aired on Netflix [3] on July 24, 2020 [6] starring John Krasinski as Owen Huntington, and Emily Blunt as Zoe Huntington, Ian McKellen as Horatio Huntington, as well as Danny DeVito as Chesterfield, and Sylvester Stallone as Bulletman. Usagi Yojimbo is a comic book series created by Stan Sakai. It is set primarily at the beginning of the Edo period of Japanese history and features anthropomorphic animals replacing humans. The main character is a rabbit rōnin, Miyamoto Usagi, whom Sakai based partially on the famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. Usagi wanders the land on a musha shugyō, occasionally selling his services as a bodyguard.

Gene Luen Yang is an American cartoonist. He is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of graphic novels and comics, at comic book conventions and universities, schools, and libraries. In addition, he was the Director of Information Services and taught computer science at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, California. In 2012, Yang joined the faculty at Hamline University as a part of the Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults (MFAC) program. In 2016, the U.S. Library of Congress named him Ambassador for Young People's Literature. That year he became the third graphic novelist, alongside Lauren Redniss, to receive a MacArthur Fellowship.

Millarworld Limited is an imprint of comic books published by Scottish comic book writer Mark Millar as a creator-owned line, featuring characters created by him in a shared fictional universe, the Millarworld. These characters include Wesley Gibson, Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Eggsy Unwin, Nemesis, Duke McQueen, Edison Crane, and others, while the events of The Unfunnies, Jupiter's Legacy, and Supercrooks exist as popular fiction within the world of the Millarworld. Disenchantment is an American animated fantasy sitcom created by Matt Groening for Netflix. The series is Groening's first production to appear exclusively on a streaming service; he previously created The Simpsons and Futurama for Fox. Set in the fictitious medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland. The era is a fictionalized take on the Dark Ages, likely set in the early 11th century, since Futurama is set in the late 30th century and the early 31st century, just as The Simpsons is set in the present day of the late 20th century and the early 21st century. The series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious alcoholic princess as well as her naïve elf companion Elfo and her destructive "personal demon" Luci. Angry Birds: Summer Madness is an animated television series developed by Rob Doherty and Scott Sonneborn for Netflix. Based on the Angry Birds franchise by Rovio Entertainment, and loosely based on the characters in the style of The Angry Birds Movie films, the series premiered on January 28, 2022. Season 2 was released on June 24, 2022. Season 3 was released on August 25, 2022, consisting of four specials.
Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles is an animated television series developed by Candie and Doug Langdale. The show is loosely based on the Usagi Yojimbo comic books by Stan Sakai. Unlike its source material where the comics takes place in the past, the show takes place in the future and Miyamoto Usagi is not the lead protagonist, the character instead appearing in a minor role, with Yuki Matsuzaki reprising his role from the 2012 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
