He challenged twice for world championships; the WBO super middleweight title in 2000 and the unified WBA (Super) and IBF super middleweight titles in 2003. At regional level, he held the British super middleweight title twice; first in 1997 and again from 1998 to 2001, and also held the Commonwealth super middleweight title from 1998 to 2002.

At regional level he held the British, Commonwealth, and English super-middleweight titles, and won the Lonsdale Belt in 2006. As an amateur in the middleweight division, Froch won a bronze medal at the 2001 World Championships, and the ABA title twice.
Paul James Smith Jr. is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2003 to 2017, and has since worked as a commentator. He held the English middleweight title in 2008, the British super-middleweight title twice between 2009 and 2014, and challenged three times for a super-middleweight world title. As an amateur, he won a silver medal in the light middleweight division at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
James Simon Russan, best known as Jamie Cox, is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2018. who held the Commonwealth light-middleweight title from 2011 to 2012. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Holt won the South African middleweight title from Eddie Thomas, and successfully defended the title against Thomas (twice), Cocky Bredenkamp, Jimmie Elliott, and Stoffel du Plessis. Holt was a challenger for the British Empire middleweight title against Pat McAteer, and British Empire light heavyweight title against Yvon Durelle, his professional fighting weight varied from 151+1⁄2 lb, i.e. middleweight to 185 lb, i.e. heavyweight, he was managed by Piet Lourens.
Tuna Williard Scanlan was a Samoan-born New Zealand professional middle/light heavyweight boxer of the 1950s and 1960s.
George Leslie "Bunny" Grant was a Jamaican professional feather/super feather/light/light welter/welterweight/light middleweight boxer of the 1950s, '60s and '70s who won the Jamaican lightweight title, Jamaican welterweight title, Central American light welterweight Title, Latin American junior welterweight title, and British Commonwealth lightweight title, and was a challenger for the World Boxing Council (WBC) light welterweight title and World Boxing Association (WBA) World light welterweight title against Eddie Perkins, Commonwealth welterweight title against Clyde Gray, his professional fighting weight varied from 125+1⁄2 pounds (56.9 kg), i.e. featherweight to 152+1⁄2 pounds (69.2 kg), i.e. light middleweight. Bunny Grant was managed by Jacques Deschamps, and Pancho Rankine, and trained by Harry Wiley. He died on 1 November 2018.
Wilfred Francis Greaves was a Canadian amateur light middleweight and professional light middle/middle/light heavyweight boxer of the 1950s and '60s who as an amateur won the gold medal at light middleweight in the Boxing at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and as a professional won the Canada middleweight title, and British Commonwealth middleweight title, his professional fighting weight varied from 152 lb, i.e. light middleweight to 164 lb, i.e. light heavyweight.
