Scott Hamilton (born December 11,1957) is a former Canadian politician,who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2013 provincial election. [2] He represented the electoral district of Delta North as a member of the British Columbia Liberal Party.
He served as Chair of the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services,as well as several other committees of the Legislative Assembly.
Hamilton was first elected to Delta,British Columbia City Council in 2002 and was re-elected in 2005,2008 and 2011. [3] He served on several committees and commissions in his years on Delta Council. Most notably,he is responsible for advocating a new housing policy that resulted in a more progressive framework,and led to greater options for secondary housing opportunities in Delta. [4]
He is currently the managing director for Quadrant Management Ltd,a property development and project management company that provides services to a variety of established industrial and commercial clients.
Hamilton and his wife Kristen have lived in North Delta since 1986. They have two grown daughters. Prior to his election to the 40th Legislative Assembly of British Columbia Hamilton was employed in the information technology business.

Rob Fleming is a Canadian politician who represents the riding of Victoria-Swan Lake in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. From July 2017 to November 2020, during the 41st Parliament, he was the Minister of Education. Fleming is a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party and was first elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the 2005 election in Victoria-Hillside defeating incumbent British Columbia Liberal Party MLA Sheila Orr. He was re-elected in the renamed constituency of Victoria-Swan Lake in the 2009, 2013 and 2017 elections.
Michael C. Farnworth is a Canadian politician who has served as the 15th and current deputy premier of British Columbia since 2021, and the minister of public safety and solicitor general since 2017. He has served in the cabinet of British Columbia since 2020, currently as Minister of Housing and Government House Leader. As a field hockey player, he has represented Canada at several international events, including the 2000 and 2008 Summer Olympics.

Doug Routley is the current MLA for Nanaimo-North Cowichan in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Norm Letnick is a Canadian politician, who was first elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2009 provincial election and re-elected in 2013, 2017, and 2020. During his terms in office, Letnick served over four years as British Columbia's minister of Agriculture, the longest period in this portfolio of any BC Liberal. He was elected as a member of the BC Liberal Party in the riding of Kelowna-Lake Country. While his party formed a majority government in the 39th Parliament, Letnick was not initially included in the cabinet but was appointed to several committees, including the Select Standing Committee on Health where he was chair and tasked to report on the impacts of baby boomers and alternative strategies on the health care system. Prior to being appointed assistant deputy speaker he served as opposition health critic for three years. During that time he worked in close collaboration with health minister Adrian Dix on many files but none more important than the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic response.
Steve Thomson is a Canadian politician, who was elected as a BC Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2009 provincial election, representing the riding of Kelowna-Mission. Thomson was re-elected in 2013 and 2017 and elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia on June 22, 2017. He had previously served as Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations since 2011. Thomson resigned as Speaker on June 29, 2017, after less than a week in office, immediately following the defeat of the minority Liberal government of Christy Clark on a confidence vote.
