Se Remata el Siglo is the second studio album by Chilean rock band Los Tres, released in 1993.

This album features a more powerful, strong rock sound than its predecessor, incorporating hard rock and grunge elements. Also is the first Los Tres album to feature an instrumental song (Follaje en el Invernadero and No Sabes Qué Desperdicio Tengo en el Alma).

Los Tres is the debut studio album by Chilean rock band Los Tres, released on September 4, 1991, through Alerce. The album contains ten songs, all produced by Carlos Necochea and written by the members of the band, mainly Álvaro Henríquez. The artwork for the cover is the painting "Actresses" by Georgian painter Lado Gudiashvili.

Luis Segura, is a popular traditional Dominican singer who refers to himself as 'The Father of Bachata'. He is considered one of the best interpreters of traditional bachata with hits like "Pena por ti", "Dicen", and "No me celes tanto". Segura's first recordings were in the 1960s but it wasn't until his release of "Pena por ti" in the early 1970s that Segura hit stardom.

Los Tres MTV Unplugged is an MTV Unplugged live acoustic album by Chilean rock band Los Tres, released on April 15, 1996, through Sony Music Chile. The album was the band's first live album as well as the first MTV Unplugged album ever released by a Chilean band. It was recorded on September 14, 1995, at Post Edge Studios, Miami, United States and features appearances from musicians Cuti Aste and Toño Restucci. The album contains eleven songs from their previous studio albums alongside the original song "Traje Desastre" and three cover versions of songs by Chilean musician Roberto Parra. It is the band's most commercially successful album, going platinum and selling 150,000 copies within its first three months.

Fome is the fourth studio album by Chilean rock band Los Tres, released on June 25, 1997, through Sony Music. The album comprises fifteen tracks and was produced by the band alongside Joe Blaney, who had previously worked with them on MTV Unplugged (1996). The cover for the album contains an advertisement from the Spanish encyclopedia Monitor, released during the sixties.

The 8th Annual Latin Grammy Awards took place on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show aired on Univision. Juan Luis Guerra was the night's big winner, winning 5 awards including Album of the Year. Juan Luis Guerra was honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year one night prior to the telecast.

Trio Reynoso also known as "The Kings of Merengue Tipico" are considered to be one of the best musical groups of perico ripiao or merengue tipico. Trio Reynoso was composed of singer/accordionist Pedro Reynoso, percussionist Francisco Esquea, singer and güira player Domingo Reynoso, and marimbero and güirero Antonio Rosario Almonte(chirichito) who is known as one of the best güireros of all time and they laid the foundations of a new local mainstream called bachata-merengue. They were considered the most popular Latin group during the Trujillo and Post-Trujillo era. They became a well-known group in parts of Latin America other than the Dominican Republic such as Cuba and Puerto Rico. After the death of Pedro Reynoso on July 18, 1965, Trio Reynoso had to get a new accordionist and lead singer. In the end, it came out to be Tatico Henriquez, who in 1966, recorded his first song with the group called "Lo Que Tu Me Pidas". Some well notable songs that they have recorded were "Juana Mecho", "El Gallo Floreao", "Canto De Hacha", "Juanita Morel", "Alevántate", "Chanflin", "Mi Mujer De Oro", "Maria Luisa", "El Picoteao" and "La Lisa". Tatico Henriquez would go into the footsteps of Pedro Reynoso and become one of the greatest accordionists of the Merengue Típico genre. He is also the most popular artist of the merengue típico genre that has sold more records than any other artist in the history of Merengue Típico.

La cueca presentada por Violeta Parra, also known as El folklore de Chile Volumen 3, is an album by Violeta Parra released on the Odeón label in early 1959. It was the third full-length album by Parra and part of Odeón's "El folclore de Chile" series to which Parra contributed five albums. The album contains 24 songs in the cueca genre. The cueca is the Chilean national dance, and the songs were collected between November 1957 and January 1958 in the central region of Chile between Santiago and Concepción. The sole original composition is "Cueca larga de Los Meneses" which was written by Parra and her brother, the "anti-poet" Nicanor Parra.

He is recognized as one of the best Chilean guitarists because he fluently handles languages such as jazz, rock, and folklore. He is the son of Chilean singer-songwriter Ángel Parra and Marta Orrego Matte, and grandson of Violeta Parra, being a member of the Parra family, one of the most prolific musical clans in Chile.
