Sean Riley & The Slowriders is a Portuguese band from Coimbra with a sound close to music of Americana roots such as folk, rock and blues. The band represented Portugal at the 2010 Eurosonic Festival. [1]
Sean Riley named his debut album Farewell. An auspicious beginning that revealed the intentions of a group of friends that gathered to make music and enjoy themselves. But the simplicity and hedonism that formed the basis of Farewell were betrayed by a set of 11 songs that projected Sean Riley & the Slowriders onto the main stages of Portugal, authors of one of the best debuts in the history of Portuguese recorded music.[ citation needed ] The media attention raised the stakes for the follow-up album, Only Time Will Tell.
Only Time Will Tell presented a second collection of 12 songs by Sean Riley, selected from the many song ideas presented to the Slowriders during preproduction.
"Houses and Wifes", "This Woman" and "Hold on" were some of the tracks played live during the extensive national tour, which included an appearance at festivals, Portuguese cities as well as dates in the UK, Spain and the Netherlands, where the band performed at Eurosonic 2011.
Back home, the band wasted no time heading back into the studio to record their third album, It’s Been a Long Night.
Sean Riley & the Slowriders have just released their fourth álbum Sean Riley & The Slowriders, a more straightforward approach from the creation point of view, it is also their most conceptual work thus far.

Spectrum are an Australian progressive rock band which formed in April 1969 and broke up in April 1973. The original line-up was Mark Kennedy on drums, Lee Neale on organ (ex-Nineteen87), Bill Putt on bass guitar, and Mike Rudd on guitar and lead vocals. In August 1970 Kennedy was replaced by Ray Arnott on drums. These members also performed under the alter ego, Indelible Murtceps, from 1971 to 1973. Spectrum had a number-one hit, "I'll Be Gone", on the Go-Set National Top 60 singles chart. After Spectrum and Indelible Murtceps disbanded, Putt and Rudd formed Ariel. In 1999 the pair formed Spectrum Plays the Blues, which later trimmed their name back to Spectrum. On 7 August 2013 Bill Putt died, after a heart attack.

Foxy Shazam is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio formed in 2004. As of 2020, the band's lineup consists of lead vocalist Eric Nally, pianist Sky White, trumpeter and backing vocalist Alex Nauth, bassist The Persistent Savage, guitarist Devin Williams and drummer Teddy Aitkins. The band released their debut album The Flamingo Trigger independently in 2005 before signing with Ferret Music, under which they released their second album Introducing Foxy Shazam in 2008. The following year, the band recorded its first major label record with producer John Feldmann. Foxy Shazam signed with Sire Records and released its self-titled major-label debut in 2010. The band's fourth studio album, The Church of Rock and Roll, was released in January 2012. Gonzo, the band's fifth album, was released April 2, 2014.
Little Joy is a rock supergroup formed in 2007 by Los Hermanos singer-songwriter Rodrigo Amarante, The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, and Binki Shapiro. They released Little Joy, their only album, in 2008.
Street Sweeper Social Club is an American rap rock supergroup, formed in Los Angeles, California in 2006. The band primarily consists of guitarist Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and vocalist and emcee Boots Riley of The Coup. The band had been testing songs out during Tom Morello's Nightwatchman tour and released an album on June 16, 2009. Stanton Moore drummed for the group for the recording of the album although he did not join the band for the following tour. Street Sweeper Social Club opened for Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction in May 2009. Street Sweeper Social Club describes itself as "more than a band, it's a social club." Their 2010 EP The Ghetto Blaster EP includes covers of M.I.A. "Paper Planes" and LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out".

"Vermin Mangle" is a song by English rock band Cardiacs from their unfinished album LSD, intended as the album's final track. The song was written by Tim Smith, who played it live during solo performances in 2000 and 2006. Following Smith's death, it was released as a free download on 1 September 2020 through the band's Bandcamp page as the second single from the album, to mark his funeral that same day. Intended as a thank you to the group's fans, the song features the circus, progressive rock and psychedelic instrumentation that drove much of the band's work.
