Milton Katims was an American violist and conductor. He was music director of the Seattle Symphony for 22 years (1954–76). In that time he added more than 75 works, made recordings, premiered new pieces and led the orchestra on several tours. He expanded the orchestra's series of family and suburban outreach concerts. He is also known for his numerous transcriptions and arrangements for viola.
The Meadowmount School of Music, founded in 1944 by Ivan Galamian, is a 7-week summer school in the town of Lewis in Upstate New York for young violinists, cellists, violists, and pianists training for professional music careers. The students receive instruction in chamber music and solo performance techniques, practice four to five hours per day, and attend masterclasses, studio classes, guest artist workshops, Alexander Technique, and yoga. The extensive campus contains a dining hall, student lounge, infirmary, practice cabins, faculty studios, a concert hall, performance space, recreation areas, and student dormitories. Field trips, hiking, and off-campus events are also offered. Concerts are held three times a week and feature students, faculty, and/or guest artists. Master classes are held daily.
Bay Chamber Concerts is a non-profit organization located in downtown Rockport, Maine. Bay Chamber Concerts plays a principal role in bringing music, particularly classical music, to the Mid Coast area. During the months of July and August Bay Chamber Concerts hosts a Summer Music Festival bringing an assortment of musical groups to the Rockport Opera House and surrounding venues. In addition, from September to June, Bay Chamber brings various performers to the Camden, Rockport and Rockland area through their Performing Arts Series. Bay Chamber Music School offers private instruction and group classes.
Kneisel Hall is an annual chamber music festival and school located in Blue Hill, Maine. The season runs for seven weeks each summer from late June until mid-August. A small faculty works with approximately fifty young artists of collegiate and graduate level at the beginning of their professional careers, concentrating almost exclusively on chamber music for strings and piano. From 1986 until his death in 2015, pianist Seymour Lipkin served as artistic director. The current artistic director is Laurie Smukler.

The Boston Chamber Music Society (BCMS) is an American organization of musicians located in Boston, Massachusetts and dedicated to the performance and promotion of chamber music. The organization performs works from the Baroque era to the present day and is a member of Chamber Music America and ArtsBoston. BCMS' website states that it is "New England’s preeminent chamber music society and presents the most extensive and longest-running concert series in the region". BCMS currently offers 8 concerts throughout the year at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre, New England Conservatory of Music's Jordan Hall and First Church in Cambridge, Congregational. Each spring BCMS also hosts an annual chamber music workshop for mixed ensembles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The organization is led by artistic director Marcus Thompson and managing director Wen Huang.
Music from Salem is a chamber music festival in Washington County, New York. Founded in 1985 by violist Lila Brown and violinist Judith Eissenberg. The festival features a summer concert series at the historic Hubbard Hal in Cambridge, New York; free children's workshops at area libraries and open rehearsals at the Brown Farm in Salem, New York – birthplace of Music from Salem. In 2006, the cellist Rhonda Rider and the pianist Judith Gordon joined Music from Salem as artistic co-directors.
Chamber Music Northwest (CMNW) is an American non-profit organization in Portland, Oregon that is dedicated to the performance and promotion of chamber music. The organization's main presentation is its annual five-week Summer Festival, that occurs during the months of June and July. Performances are held at the Kaul Auditorium on the campus of Reed College and in Lincoln Hall at Portland State University, as well as other venues. The organization also presents individual chamber music concerts throughout the year, as well as educational and community engagement programs.

She also serves as Artistic Advisor for Wolf Trap’s Chamber Music in the Barns series and the Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach. She was appointed Artistic Director of La Musica in 2022.

In September 2021, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Chamber Music America in New York City. He previously served as Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, a presenting organization in residence at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA, and also served as Director of Innovation and Program Development at Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California. He co-founded Chamber Music | OC, an arts organization headquartered in Lake Forest, California, and is a founding member and current pianist of the award-winning piano trio, Trio Céleste.
Julian Schwarz is an American cellist of Austrian descent who graduated from Juilliard School. Schwarz is currently on the cello faculty of Eastern Music Festival and as of August 2017, the assistant professor of cello at Shenendoah Conservatory. He won the 2013 inaugural Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition in Hong Kong and the 2016 Boulder International Chamber Music Competition's "The Art of Duo" with pianist Marika Bournaki, to whom he is married.
Brinton Averil Smith is an American cellist.
Nicholas Canellakis is an American cellist. He made his Carnegie Hall concerto debut in 2015 with the American Symphony Orchestra. He has performed as soloist with the Albany Symphony as his sister Karina Canellakis conducted, as well as the Delaware, New Haven, Lansing, and Bangor Symphonies. He is an artist at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and is a former member of CMS Two. He regularly performs duo recitals with pianist Michael Brown. He is the Artistic Director of Chamber Music Sedona in Arizona.
