Sebastian Pigott (born February 14, 1983) is a Canadian singer and actor. He was a contestant on the sixth season of Canadian Idol, in 2008. [1] [2] [3] He has guest-starred on numerous television series, including Murdoch Mysteries and Revenge .
Pigott has subsequently appeared in such network television shows as The Listener , Heartland , The Border and Deadliest Sea . His most prominent role to date has been that of barista Kai Booker on CBC Television's Being Erica [4] [5] (seasons 2 to 4), for which he and his brother Oliver wrote the songs "Alien Like You" and "Hard To Go".
Pigott and his brother Oliver formed a band called Pigott Brothers and released their debut album, Pigottry, in 2009. Their second album, The Age Of Peace, was released in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Simon Phillip Cowell is an English television personality, entrepreneur, and record executive. Canadian Idol is a Canadian reality television competition show which aired on CTV, based on the British show Pop Idol. The show was a competition to find the most talented young singer in Canada, and was hosted by Ben Mulroney. Jon Dore was the "roving reporter" for the first three seasons. Elena Juatco assumed the role for season four, Dave Kerr had the role in season five and Jully Black in season six.
Australian Idol is an Australian singing competition, which began its first season in July 2003 and ended its initial run in November 2009. As part of the Idol franchise, Australian Idol originated from the reality program Pop Idol, which was created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller. The sixth season became the final season of Canadian Idol following its cancellation in 2009.
Being Erica is a Canadian comedy-drama television series that aired on CBC from January 5, 2009, to December 12, 2011. Created by Jana Sinyor, the series was originally announced by the CBC as The Session, but was later retitled Being Erica before debuting in 2009. It is produced by Temple Street Productions and distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide. The show stars Erin Karpluk as Erica Strange, a woman who begins seeing a therapist to deal with regrets in her life, only to discover a therapist who has the ability to send her back in time to actually relive these events and even change them.

Hiccups is a Canadian television sitcom created by Corner Gas star Brent Butt, who is also the writer, show runner, and executive producer of the program. The series was produced by Laura Lightbown and David Storey and airs on CTV and The Comedy Network. The pilot was shot in late March 2009 with the rest of the series to begin shooting in September 2009. The show premiered on CTV on March 1, 2010; the same night as Dan for Mayor, a series starring fellow Corner Gas alumnus Fred Ewanuick. Hiccups returned for a second season on May 30, 2011 at 8pm ET. CTV did not renew Hiccups and Dan for Mayor for a third season.
