See Art Orlando

See Art Orlando (SAO) is a non-profit founded by Jennifer Quigley that raises money to install public art in the City of Orlando. [1] [2] In 2013, SAO installed eight sculptures in downtown Orlando. Most of the sculptures are at Lake Eola Park. [3] All of the sculptures are commissioned and installed using private donations. [4]

Completed in 1988, it has 35 stories and 30 floors of usable office space. Originally named the Sun Bank Center, the name changed after SunTrust Banks began its series of mergers and acquisitions in the 1990s. It was originally built to serve as the Florida headquarters for SunTrust Banks, but as recently as 2009, SunTrust has vacated over 150,000 square feet (14,000 m2) in an effort to downsize.

The flag of Orlando, Florida, is a horizontal bicolor flag of white and blue defaced with a stylized depiction of the Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain in the center. The bottom blue stripe takes up one third of the vertical length. Surrounding the fountain is a golden depiction of the sun in the shape of the letter "O." The portion of the sun over the blue stripe is split by four thin blue stripes, creating the appearance of sunlight over waves.
