Seismic Productions is a Los Angeles based creative marketing company that creates trailers, television spots, and other marketing tools for the entertainment industry.
Seismic Productions was founded in 1989 under the co-ownership of David Schneiderman and Kevin Sewelson. Schneiderman initially began his career at J. Walter Thompson advertising agency in New York before moving out west to work for Disney in 1986. In 1998, Erin Wyatt joined the company, and after a few years was working as an editor. In 2010, Wyatt was made a partner, and in 2011 Sewelson exited Seismic, leaving Schneiderman and Wyatt as the remaining partners.
Since its founding, the company has expanded from its roots in independent cinema ( Fargo , The Crying Game , Four Weddings and a Funeral ) to larger commercial projects, including the critically acclaimed campaigns for The Devil Wears Prada , Les Misérables , and Brokeback Mountain , the latter of which was later parodied in its entirety on Saturday Night Live . Seismic Productions has garnered dozens of nominations and awards, including two Clio Awards for their work on American Sniper and American Ultra, and numerous Golden Trailer Awards, including the Best Drama TV Spot Award for American Sniper. [3] [4]

"Beauty and the Beast" is a song written by lyricist Howard Ashman and composer Alan Menken for the Disney animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991). The film's theme song, the Broadway-inspired ballad was first recorded by British-American actress Angela Lansbury in her role as the voice of the character Mrs. Potts, and essentially describes the relationship between its two main characters Belle and the Beast, specifically how the couple has learned to accept their differences and in turn change each other for the better. Additionally, the song's lyrics imply that the feeling of love is as timeless and ageless as a "tale as old as time". Lansbury's rendition is heard during the famous ballroom sequence between Belle and the Beast, while a shortened chorale version plays in the closing scenes of the film, and the song's motif features frequently in other pieces of Menken's film score. Lansbury was initially hesitant to record "Beauty and the Beast" because she felt that it was not suitable for her aging singing voice, but ultimately completed the song in one take.

The Game Awards 2019 was an award show that honored the best video games of 2019. The event was produced and hosted by Geoff Keighley, creator and producer of The Game Awards, and was held to an invited audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 12, 2019. The preshow ceremony was hosted by Sydnee Goodman. The event was live streamed across more than 50 digital platforms; it was the first to broadcast live in India and was simulcast in 53 movie theaters across the United States. The show featured musical performances from Chvrches, Grimes, and Green Day, and presentations from celebrity guests including Stephen Curry, Vin Diesel, Norman Reedus, and Michelle Rodriguez. In association with the event, a virtual games festival was held online, allowing free demos to be played through Steam over a 48-hour period.
