Seiya Kobayashi (born 11 August 2001) is a Japanese luger who competes internationally.

Saint Seiya, also known as Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac or simply Knights of the Zodiac, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1985 to 1990, with its chapters collected in 28 tankōbon volumes. In North America, the manga was licensed for English release by Viz Media.

Kitchen Princess is a shōjo cooking romance manga series written by Miyuki Kobayashi and illustrated by Natsumi Andō. Appearing as a serial in the manga magazine Nakayoshi from the September 2004 issue to the October 2008 issue, the forty-seven chapters were compiled into ten bound volumes by Kodansha, and published from February 2005 to November 2008. It also includes recipes for each featured dish at the end of each chapter. The series marked the first time that Ando illustrated a manga that was not also written by her. Set in modern-day Japan, Kitchen Princess follows Najika Kazami, a cheerful thirteen-year-old girl who searches for her "flan prince", a boy who rescued her from drowning as a young girl and brought a little happiness to her life after her parents' death. In March 2008, Kodansha published a related light novel, Kitchen Princess: Search for the Angel Cake, written by Kobayashi and illustrated by Ando.
Saint Seiya, retitled Saint Seiya: Evil Goddess Eris on its home video release, is the first in a series of anime films produced by Toei Animation based on the manga Saint Seiya by Masami Kurumada. The movie premiered on July 18, 1987, at the Toei Manga Matsuri film festival, where it was shown as part of a quadruple feature along with Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle and the movie versions of Hikari Sentai Maskman and Choujinki Metalder.
Saint Seiya: Next Dimension – Myth of Hades is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. It is a direct sequel to Kurumada's manga series Saint Seiya, while also serving as a prequel to the events presented in it. It was irregularly serialized for eighteen years in Akita Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion from April 2006 to July 2024; its chapters have been collected in fifteen tankōbon volumes as of May 2024. The main plot is set in the 18th century during the previous "Holy War" between the goddess Athena and the god Hades, and centers on the battles between each deity's warriors who are known as the Saints and the Specters, respectively, during that era.

Saintia Shō was serialized in Akita Shoten's Champion Red magazine from August 2013 to July 2021, with its chapters collected in sixteen tankōbon released.

The men's normal hill individual competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 5–6 February, at the Snow Ruyi hill in Zhangjiakou. The event was won by Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan became the Olympic champion. Manuel Fettner of Austria won the silver medal, and Dawid Kubacki of Poland the bronze medal. For Kobayashi and Fettner this was the first ever Olympic medal, and for Kubacki the first individual Olympic medal.
The men's large hill individual competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 11 and 12 February, at the Snow Ruyi hill in Zhangjiakou. Marius Lindvik of Norway won the event, which became his first Olympic medal. Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan became the silver medalist, and Karl Geiger of Germany won the bronze medal, his first individual Olympic medal.
