Sekou Tidiany Bangoura (born 25 April 2002) is a Guinean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Israeli Premier League club Kiryat Shmona and the Guinea national team.
A youth product of the Guinean club Atlantic, Bangoura moved to the Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir in April 2020 for 2 seasons. [1] On 7 February 2002, he joined Jammerbugt FC on a year-long loan in the Danish 1st Division. [2] On 3 February 2023, he joined Gençlerbirliği in the TFF 1. Lig on loan for the second half of the 2022–2023 season. [3] On 1 September 2023, he joined Tuzlaspor on another season long loan. [4] On 12 July 2024, he joined the Israeli Premier League club Kiryat Shmona on loan for a season. [5] On 16 May 2025, Kiryat Shmona activated a buy option and signed him permanently. [6]
Bangoura was called up to the Guinea U17s for the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations. [7] He played for the Guinea U23s at the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations. [8] He was a late addition for the U23s at the 2024 Summer Olympics. [9]
Bangoura was called up to the senior Guinea national team for a set of friendlies in November 2025. He scored on his debut, a 2–0 win over Liberia on 16 November 2025. [10]
