Semen Radulov (born August 30, 1989, in Odessa) is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. He won a bronze medal in the 2016 European Wrestling Championships held in Riga, Latvia. [1]
Mariya Stadnik is a Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani female wrestler who won four Olympic medals, two World Championship and ten European Championship.
The European Wrestling Championships is the second oldest international wrestling competition of the modern world and the main wrestling championships in Europe. It predates World Wrestling Championships and other regional wrestling championships and is second only to the wrestling events at the Olympics. From its inception in 1898 till 1927 only Greco-Roman wrestling was contested. Since 1929 separate freestyle wrestling events were held as well. Since 1970 the two Olympic wrestling styles were contested together during the same unified events. Since 1973 Sambo wrestling was included into the championships programme along with GR and freestyle wrestling. Since 2014 associated traditional wrestling styles recognized globally by UWW were incorporated into the annual championships schedule.
Alina Vyacheslavivna Berezhna is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. She is the 2013 World champion in women's freestyle 67 kg.
Geno Petriashvili is a Georgian heavyweight freestyle wrestler. He is European champion in 2016 and 2020 and world champion in 2017, 2018 and 2019, as well as a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, a silver medal 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and gold medal 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Zhan Vensanovych Beleniuk is a Ukrainian politician and retired Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a three-time Olympic medalist and won the gold medal in the Greco-Roman 87 kg at the 2020 Summer Olympics, the silver medal in the Greco-Roman 85 kg at the 2016 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal in the Greco-Roman 87 kg at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Beleniuk is also a two-time world champion, a three-time European champion and a European Games champion. In 2019, he became the first black member of the Ukrainian Parliament.

She is a two-time Olympic medallist and won the silver medal in the women's freestyle 62 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics and one of the bronze medals in the women's freestyle 62 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Koliadenko is also a World Championships silver and bronze medallist, and a three-time European champion.
Evelina Georgieva Nikolova is a Bulgarian freestyle wrestler. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's 57 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships held in Las Vegas, United States. Nikolova is also a five-time medalist at the European Wrestling Championships and a bronze medalist at the European Games.
Vasyl Mykhailov is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. He won one of the bronze medals in the 79 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. He also won one of the bronze medals in the 79 kg event at the 2020 European Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy. Mykhailov represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
Alla Belinska is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. She is a three-time medalist, including gold, at the European Wrestling Championships. She represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
The 2021 European Wrestling Championships was held from 19 to 25 April 2021 in Warsaw, Poland. 428 athletes from 36 countries competed for continental gold at the European Championship. There were 168 Greco-Roman tournament entries, 155 freestyle competitors and 105 women's wrestlers.
Parviz Nasibov is an Azerbaijani-Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler. He represented Ukraine at the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo 2021 and at the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, competing in Men's Greco-Roman 67 kg. He resides in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
The 2022 European Wrestling Championships was held from 28 March to 3 April 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. Belarusian and Russian wrestlers did not compete at the event after a ban as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
