Amar Kanwar was born in New Delhi in 1964 where he continues to live and work as a filmmaker. Kanwar studied at the Department of History, Ramjas College, Delhi University (1982-1985), and at the Mass Communication Research Center, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (1985–87). After making a few films, Kanwar joined the People's Science Institute in 1988 as a researcher on occupational health and safety in the coal-mining belt of Madhya Pradesh in central India. He returned to filmmaking in 1990, and his films were then shown primarily in public campaigns, community spaces and film festivals in India and across the world. Kanwar's filmmaking practice challenges the limits of the medium in order to create complex narratives traversing several terrains such as labour and indigenous rights, gender, religious fundamentalism and ecology. In 2002, Kanwar was invited to exhibit at Documenta 11 in Kassel whereupon his work has also been presented in several art exhibitions and museums. Connecting with diverse audiences, in multiple public spaces, Kanwar also participated in the next three editions of the Documenta exhibition in 2007, 2012 and 2017. He has been an eminent voice in film and art for the past two decades.
Drew Berry is an American biomedical animator at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia. He produces animations of proteins and protein complexes to illustrate cellular and molecular processes.
"Traveller" was recorded for Linde Nijland's album, A Musical Journey, in 2010. The story of the video is based on her lyrics, which portrait a traveller who asks herself questions along the road. Symbolically, the questions are about the meaning of life. The video is intended to convey the astral sense of the song. A 2D computer animation with watercolour paintings were designated for the background, to carry over the softness and pureness of Nijland's voice and music into the video.
Nelly Ben Hayoun is a French designer, artist and filmmaker. Born in Valence, Drôme, France, Ben Hayoun now resides in London, United Kingdom. An award-winning director and designer of experiences, she works with scientists and engineers to devise events and experiences. She serves on the Advisory Council of METI and she is the designer of experiences at the SETI Institute. Ben Hayoun is also an exhibitor and keynote speaker who has worked with museums and design centres across the world.

Kelly Sears is an American animator and filmmaker. In 2015 she lives in Los Angeles, California and is Assistant Professor of Film at University of Colorado Boulder. Her work consists of video, digital animation, stop-motion animation, digital imaging, and sound design.
