Seminary is an unincorporated community in Lee County, Virginia, in the United States. [1] The community was previously known as Turkey Cove. During the American Civil War, the 64th Virginia Infantry trained on the community's church grounds, partly because its chaplain was Reuben Steele. [2]
Seminary was named after the local United Methodist Church seminary. [3]
Lexington is an independent city in Virginia, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 7,320. It is the county seat of Rockbridge County, although the two are separate jurisdictions, and is combined with it for statistical purposes by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
