Seneca Scott (born August 6,1977) is an American politician who represented the 72nd district in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2008 to 2016. [1] [2] He is married with two children,and is a member of the Choctaw Nation. [2]
In 2014,Scott agreed to pay a $3,000 civil penalty $8,273 in restitution after the Oklahoma State Ethics Commission found that he had used campaign funds for personal use. [3]
In 2016,Scott was selected as a winner of the Oklahoma Human Rights Award,jointly awarded by the Oklahoma City chapter of the United Nations Association and the Oklahoma Universal Human Rights Alliance. [4]

In October 2012,the Australian state of New South Wales recognized Nagorno-Karabakh. In September 2014,the Basque Parliament in Spain adopted a motion supporting Artsakh's right to self-determination and in November 2014,the Parliament of Navarre,also in Spain,issued a statement supporting Artsakh's inclusion in taking part in settlement negotiations.
Ahmed Shaheed is a Maldivian diplomat,politician and professor. On 24 March 2016,he was appointed for the sixth year running as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Shaheed is also the Chairperson of the Geneva-based international human rights think-tank,Universal Rights Group,which was launched in January 2014. He now lives in England as a Professor of Human Rights Practice at the University of Essex. Shaheed is also a Senior Fellow at Raoul Wallenberg Human Rights Centre and a Fellow at the Bonavero Institute of Human rights at the University of Oxford.

Seneca is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County,Maryland,United States. It is located near the intersection of River Road and Seneca Creek,not far from the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and Potomac River. Its history goes back before the American Revolutionary War and it thrived when the canal was operating—having several warehouses,mills,a store,a hotel,and a school. Fighting occurred in the area on more than one occasion during the American Civil War. The community declined as the C&O Canal declined.

Before European Contact these tribes were generally matriarchial societies,with agriculture being the primary economic pursuit. The bulk of the tribes lived in towns with planned streets,residential and public areas. The people were ruled by complex hereditary chiefdoms of varying size and complexity with high levels of military organization.

Barbara Ross-Lee,D.O. is an American physician,academic,and the first African-American woman to serve as dean of a U.S. medical school;she is also known as the sister of Diana Ross along with being the aunt of actress Tracee Ellis Ross,and singer-songwriters Rhonda Ross Kendrick and Evan Ross. She majored in biology and chemistry at Wayne State University,graduating in 1965. Then,in 1969,she entered Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ross-Lee then went on to open her own private family practice,teach as a professor,and hold other positions within the medical community. In 1993,she was elected as the first woman dean of a medical school,at Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has earned several awards and honors for her work and accomplishments.
