Edinburgh Rugby is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays the majority of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium.

Lieutenant Leone Nakarawa is a Fijian rugby union footballer and Olympic gold medalist. He plays as a Second-Row forward for Toulon and represents the Fijian national team in international rugby. He previously played for Glasgow Warriors and is Warrior No. 224. He won the Pro12 with the Glasgow Warriors in 2014–15 and re-signed with the club in 2020. Inbetween that period, in 2016 he signed for Racing 92. In 2018 he was awarded the EPCR Player of the Year accolade.
Christopher Robert Eric Farrell is an Irish rugby union player for French Pro D2 club Oyonnax. He plays as a centre.
David Halaifonua is a Tongan national rugby union player who currently plays for Hull RUFC in the National League 2 North and for the Tonga national team.
Junior Bulumakau is a Fijian born Scotland Rugby Union 7's player who plays for Coventry Rugby Club. He previously played for Glasgow Warriors. and Doncaster Knights. His normal position is on the Wing but he can also play Full Back.

Mesu Kunavula is a Fijian international rugby union player, who currently plays for the NSW Waratahs in Super Rugby. His playing position is lock or flanker.
Cian Prendergast is an Irish professional rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Connacht and the Ireland national team.
