Serge Lairle (born Toulouse, 3 December 1956) is a French rugby union former footballer and a current coach. He played as a prop, lock and hooker.
He played for Stade Toulousain, from 1975/76 to 1989/90, when he finished his career. He played also for France XV.
He was the coach of several teams in France. Lairle was nominated head coach of Romania in 2009. He had a disappointing 2011 Rugby World Cup qualification, reaching only the 3rd place and failing the direct qualifying for the first time but still reaching the repechage. He was replaced by Romeo Gontineac in 2010.
Serge Blanco is a former rugby union footballer who played fullback for Biarritz Olympique and the French national side, gaining 93 caps, 81 of them at fullback. His alternative position was wing. He was generally nicknamed by French rugby fans as the Pelé of Rugby.

Nicknamed 'Mr Magic' and 'The Black Pearl', he played most often as a stand-off or loose forward after starting out as a centre or wing.

Retiring as the most capped Australian Kangaroos player ever, Churchill is thus considered one of the game's greatest ever players and the prestigious Clive Churchill Medal for man-of-the-match in the NRL grand final bears his name. Churchill's attacking flair as a player is credited with having changed the role of the fullback.
