The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Balaiah, Muthuraman, Nagesh, Rajasree, Sachu, Ravichandran and Kanchana. The latter two made their acting debut with this film.

The film stars Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon and Bobby Simha, with Karunakaran and Guru Somasundaram in supporting roles. Gavemic U. Ary was the cinematographer, making his debut in Tamil cinema, and Vivek Harshan was the editor. Santhosh Narayanan composed the songs and background score.

Thanne Vandi is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by debutant Manika Vidya and produced by Sri Saravana Film Arts. The film stars Umapathy Ramaiah and Samskruthy Shenoy in the lead roles with a supporting cast including Bala Saravanan, Vinutha Lal, Thambi Ramaiah, Devadarshini and Vidyullekha Raman. The film was released in theatres on 31 December 2021. The film was renamed as Pithala Maathi and rereleased on 14 June 2024.
Pandiyoda Galatta Thaangala is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language horror comedy film directed by ST Gunasekaran and starring Nithin Sathya and Raksha Raj while Mayilsamy plays the title role.
